From April 28th to 29th, BYD Song Pro DM-i Super Sense Experience Official Fuel Saving Challenge Tour Fuzhou Station was officially opened. As the super experience officer invited to this event, the author had the honor of test driving the BYD Song Pro DM-i, which claims to be able to challenge the 200,000-level joint venture SUV product force.

However, the author test drove down the whole process, and it can be said responsibly that the distance is far more than that: At 250km, I started at 10:30 a.m. and didn't officially finish the race until 18:00 p.m., and the whole time I could only use HEV mode (EV could not be mandatorily used). The advantage is that about this car, it is a deep test drive in a very extreme way.

The POWER PART OF BYD Song Pro DM-i is equipped with a DM-i super hybrid system composed of a 1.5L high-efficiency engine for Snap Cloud Plug-in hybrid, an EHS electromix system and a blade battery.

The maximum torque of the engine is 135 Nm, the maximum torque of the motor is 325 Nm, and the combined maximum power is 173 kW. Equivalent to the power of a 2.0T fuel vehicle, the acceleration of 100 kilometers is 7.9 seconds. The fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is only 4.4 liters - full fuel and full power can reach up to 1090 kilometers of ultra-long endurance.

It can be confirmed that in the whole test drive, even if the motor power has been chewed to far less than 20%, the system enters the case of forced power preservation, and the power performance of the vehicle is still enough. But if the power is maintained above 50%, the feedback that the vehicle itself can give will be more eye-catching, and the power can indeed be the same as the height of the 2.0T fuel vehicle.

When the power is between 25% and 50%, the driving texture of the vehicle is between the fuel vehicle and the pure tram, but compared with the pure tram, when driving at medium and high speed, the engine will actively intervene. Personal subjective feeling, the acceleration performance of the vehicle is very linear, sitting in the back row, driving on the construction road, and will not feel motion sickness.

So in the case of power loss, will the driving texture of the vehicle be reduced?

No blowing water. Even though the car has been in a state of power loss of about 25%, the driving quality has not been discounted. The acceleration of the vehicle itself feels very brisk. Perhaps due to the very good NVH level of the vehicle itself (close to the tram, even if the idling speed is the same), during the driving process, the individual feels that the overall driving texture can give a positive review.

What about the mandatory power retention mode?

First of all, it should be clear that after entering this mode, the power recovery mode is used, and the power retention effect of the vehicle is very good. However, there will be a certain level of sacrifice in the driving texture.

That is, loosening the throttle during driving will have a drag sensation unlike any other mode, a bit like the feeling of transmission downshift braking. But personal feelings are also adaptable. (Don't spray if you don't like it)

Beyond that, what else does dynamic driving make me feel special?

It's a car machine. Under normal circumstances, I personally basically do not plan the performance of the car in the test drive, and most of the static experience is finished. But BYD's set of cars is really quite easy to use.

After the author has been exposed to the large-screen design of a large number of new power models, it is undeniable that BYD's 15.6-inch adaptive intelligent rotating Pad is indeed quite fragrant.

What is this concept?

In most brands, if the car machine is jointly developed with such as Ali, Tencent or Baidu, then the built-in app must be the App of the Internet Company.

For example, if the brand is cooperating with Baidu, then its navigation must only have Baidu, not Gaode; with iQiyi, it will not give Tencent Video.

The car is not finished, no one is perfect, my personal feeling is that there is, BYD Song PRO DM-i is 4650mm long, the wheelbase is 2712mm, the comfort has been significantly improved, the seat under the Ben is still quite upright, sitting whether it is the front or the back row, it is very comfortable. The backrest angle can be adjusted very flat, and it is quite comfortable to get in the car and sleep.

However, in the road conditions of the county road construction, I encountered a number of bumpy sections in a row, and there will still be a more obvious shock in the back row, the suspension of Song PRO-DM-i is manifested in the treatment of small filter shocks, and there is still a little fire, if it can be improved, it should be better, of course, this is only a personal opinion.
