The Russo-Ukrainian war is intensifying, explosions are frequent, street battles are fighting, Russia announced that it will continue to increase its troops to Ukraine, Chechnya will swear a domineering oath, Russia this is not a way back for Ukraine at all.
Today, I would like to analyze the current situation of the Russo-Ukrainian war and the possible future direction.
After the war began on February 24, 2022, the Russian military first used precision-guided missiles to carry out a devastating attack on various military facilities in Ukraine, including headquarters, ports, airports, and weapons depots. Under such a blow, within a day, Russia declared that the Ukrainian navy and air force were completely destroyed.
Then, the Russian ground troops and airborne troops were divided into four routes, the northern, northeastern, eastern and southern fronts. The four-way army adopted a semi-encircled combat deployment and launched an all-out attack on Ukraine.
The Russian army on the northern front mainly used the tactics of airborne assault and ground force follow-up, and the troops were directed at Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. In this direction, Russian paratroopers occupied the airfield, while armored forces attacked, and the capital Kiev was already in the bag. At present, the Russian army and the Ukrainian army are engaged in street fighting in the urban area of Kiev, the battle situation is very fierce, and the situation of the Ukrainian army is not optimistic.
The northeast line gathered the strongest elite troops of the Russian army, and their direction of attack was obvious, that is, Kharkov, the largest city in Ukraine, which was close to the border between Russia and Ukraine, and the Russian army attacked rapidly and has occupied Kharkov today;
The direction of attack of the Russian army on the eastern front is the armed forces of the Eastern Military District of Ukraine, where the most elite troops of Ukraine are gathered, and the two sides are currently in a fierce battle;
With the help of the Black Sea Fleet, the Northern Fleet and the Baltic Fleet, the Russian army on the southern front, centered on the Crimean Peninsula, carried out amphibious landings along the port of Odessa and Mariupol in southern Ukraine, sealing off all Ukrainian ports. Immediately after landing, the unit marched northward, and it is likely that it will carry out a north-south attack with the Russian army on the northern and northeastern fronts in the future.
At this point, except for Moldova and Poland's territory bordering Ukraine, most of Ukraine's borders have been breached by Russian troops.
Russia has launched an offensive of this magnitude on a scale that has never been since the Cold War. Therefore, it can be assumed that Russia is waging a full-scale and complete war against Ukraine.
At present, the elite troops of the Russian army are almost all deployed on the northern and northeastern fronts, including the 1st Guards Tank Army, the 20th Guards Army and the 98th Guards Airborne Division.
It can be concluded from this that the Eastern Front forces of the Russian army in Luhansk and Donetsk were only engaged in feints in order to attract the attention of the main Ukrainian forces in the region and cause an emptiness in their rear.
Today, the Russian forces on the northeast line have captured Kharkov, and the armored forces are crossing the city and detouring southeastward. The Russian army, which had already shown a landing with Mariupol, formed a siege of the main Ukrainian army on the eastern front. In this way, the main rear of the Ukrainian army will be cut off by the Russian army, and they are in danger of being completely annihilated.
If the Russian army on the northern front occupies Kiev and the Russian army lands in the port of Odessa on the southern front, then they will form a huge encirclement in the central and eastern part of Ukraine with the Russian eastern and northeastern troops.
Therefore, in the future, the Russian army is likely to form two encirclements in Ukraine: the first is the encirclement circle formed by the Russian troops on the northeast and eastern fronts aimed at annihilating the troops on the eastern front of the Ukrainian army; the second is the encirclement circle formed by the russian army in the central and eastern parts of Ukraine after the russian army's southern and northern troops meet.
There is no doubt that the second encirclement poses the greatest threat to Ukraine.
Once this huge encirclement is formed, all the territory of Ukraine from the center to the east (including Kiev, Kharkiv and the Dnieper River) will be eaten by the Russian army, and half of ukraine is already in danger.
At this point, the tactics of the Russian army are already very clear - to increase the depth of encirclement outside the combined attack.
