1 Close ties with the people and the times have made great writers
Yangcheng Evening News: At present, literary creation emphasizes the people's position and the theme of the times, how should we understand and grasp it in specific writing?
Jiang Shuzhuo: Like Liang Xiaosheng's "In the World of Man", the reason why TV dramas are now popular is because he has written the experience of ordinary people for decades, reflecting the people's bittersweet and bittersweet; some migrant literature works in Guangdong are writing about the people, and the "migrant literature" written by writers such as Zheng Xiaoqiong and Wang October is also a people's position and is inseparable from the times.

Yangcheng Evening News: When it comes to writing in life, can you talk about the effectiveness of Guangdong's "deep-rooted plan" in recent years?
Jiang Shuzhuo: Guangdong has always advocated that writers should go deep into life and take root in life, and the "DeepLy Rooted Plan" has sent five or six writers with creative potential to take root in Shantou, Dongguan, Jiangmen and other places. The province has successively identified more than 70 major realistic and historical themes in Guangdong, major realistic themes and red themes in Guangdong, and the selection of topics for the creation of young writers in Guangdong Province, and is currently ushering in a harvest period.
Like Chen Jiming's "Ping An Batch", which was published not long ago, it has been rooted for four months, six months of writing, and in less than a year, the culture of Chaoshan has been expressed so deeply and meticulously, which is very rare. Yangcheng Evening News: In recent years, Guangdong's key support for the writing topic, "major local realistic themes" have appeared repeatedly, how do you interpret it?
Jiang Shuzhuo: Because the major local realistic themes represent the changes in our locality, especially Guangdong is at the forefront of reform and opening up, science and technology and economy have developed greatly. If we do not pay more attention to realistic themes, to some extent, it is the absence of literature.
On the other hand, there are also shortcomings in the writing of reality, that is, emerging themes such as finance, industry, science and technology or the weakness of writing, which is not only Guangdong, but there are not many writers in this area of the country, but Guangdong actually has the advantage of theme in this regard, I believe that after a certain period of precipitation and the efforts of writers, it is possible to produce some really good works.
2 Guangdong literary creation ushered in a harvest period
Yangcheng Evening News: According to your observation, what are the writers in Guangdong mainly writing now? Is there a more common trend or characteristic?
Jiang Shuzhuo: Generally speaking, there are people in every field who are deeply cultivating, Zhang Xin and Zhang Mei's urban novels; Wang William's science fiction literature; Chen Chongzheng and Lin Peiyuan's Chaoshan regional writing has made breakthroughs; Hu Yonghong's children's literature; Yang Liguang's reportage; Deng Yiguang's novels; Feng Na's poetry.
The overall trend of Guangdong literary creation is upward and good, especially the younger generation, which is very active and has also won some awards in the country. In recent years, local writers have begun to rise, and Wang William, Chen Chongzheng, Lin Peiyuan, Nanxiang and others have written many influential works in the country.
Another feature of Guangdong literature is the tradition of reportage literature, which has developed greatly in recent years. "Struggle and Glory", "China Bridge", "Big Country Merchant Gang", etc., are all major realistic themes that reflect Guangdong itself, from the road of moderate prosperity to the theme of commercial history to the War of Resistance Against Japan, etc., Guangdong has made a lot of efforts. Yangcheng Evening News: You mentioned that a culturally strong province must have a general history of literature. What role will the 5-volume, 2-million-word General History of Guangdong Literature, which is being compiled, play in a culturally strong province?
Jiang Shuzhuo: Since the founding of New China to the present 72nd anniversary, and we have encountered such a prosperous era to revise history, we should write a literary history of Guangdong, and the general history of literature is not only written for more than 70 years, but written from the pre-Qin, but the whole is "thick and thin", and there is only one volume in ancient times.
Although modern Guangdong literature has a short time, but the achievements are high, the major breakthroughs in the form, content, language and theme of modern Chinese literature are closely related to Guangdong, and the modern literature of Guangdong is equivalent to opening up modern Chinese literature, so a separate volume. One volume of modern literature and two volumes of contemporary literature.
The "General History of Guangdong Literature" is a landmark project for the construction of a culturally strong province, and when we look back on the past, we also sum up experience and establish a new starting point in the process. This 2 million-word general history of literature will also be placed in the Guangdong Literature Museum as a town hall.

Jiang Shuzhuo: Compared with other provinces, the most important feature of Guangdong literature in recent years is that it is closely related to the reform and opening up life of Guangdong, especially the writing of the life of new immigrants has become a major highlight.
Among them, Shenzhen and Dongguan migrant literature is the earliest, producing many migrant writers. This kind of underlying writing presents the cultural heterogeneity produced by Guangdong in the process of reform and opening up.
3 You can't just stop at the presentation of Lingnan elements
Yangcheng Evening News: How are today's Guangdong writers different from their predecessors in writing about Lingnan?
Jiang Shuzhuo: In fact, in my opinion, "Ping An Criticism" is a new writing and expression of Lingnan. Of course, there is still a gap between the presentation of Lingnan by writers today and the writers of the older generation in the past, because writers from other places do not know enough about Lingnan culture.
Ouyang Shan is a long-term resident in Guangdong, has been fully integrated into the life of Lingnan, whether it is the language of Lingnan or the style, it takes decades to really write the charm.
On the other hand, local writers may focus more on new themes and forms, and there is still less representation of Lingnan culture, which is also an area to focus on supporting next. Writing About Lingnan, we cannot just stay in the presentation of Lingnan elements, but we must go deep into the cultural background, write about the sense of cultural heaviness, and the cultural accumulation and story behind Lingnan elements.
Yangcheng Evening News: There are obvious differences in literature in different parts of Guangdong, small novels in Huizhou, migrant literature and urban literature in Shenzhen, poetry in Zengcheng and Qingyuan, prose poems in Shanwei, etc., and the siphon effect of different places on different literary groups, how do you think?
Jiang Shuzhuo: This situation is very good, and all localities are making efforts in different fields to form their own characteristics, gather talents, and launch works. However, while each has its own characteristics, the level of writing is uneven, and there is still a lack of masterpieces and masterpieces.
Yangcheng Evening News: There are also writers who think that this can not be impatient, but must be patient?
Jiang Shuzhuo: I think it is still necessary to reflect in a timely manner and keep up with this era. Good works are not something that can be waited for, but something to be worked for.
Writers should sometimes not wait for the concept of self-treatment, strive to improve themselves, read philosophy, read history, improve themselves, establish a big historical view, a big philosophical view, a big era view, have a political height, a historical height, and an ideological height, and then concentrate on creating a big work that does not fail this era.
4 The literature of the Greater Bay Area must have new characteristics
Yangcheng Evening News: Guangdong is a very special place, on the one hand, it has a deep Lingnan cultural tradition at home, and it also presents a cross-regional and cross-border character externally, especially in the current construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, there are new possibilities and aspects in literature, in your opinion, what are the new possibilities for Guangdong literature in the future?
Jiang Shuzhuo: We must have openness and worldliness, and the culture of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is leading, representing the most advanced culture in modern culture, and it will form a cultural highland. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a coastal area, so we must look at it with a mindset that is international and facing the world, then its culture must also match.
Any writing must closely combine cosmopolitan and local locality, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area must have new modern cultural qualities, and correspondingly, literature must have new characteristics, new ideas, new styles, new themes, and new ways of writing.

Jiang Shuzhuo: I think the development prospects of online literature in Guangdong are still very good, and there are more online literature writers in Guangdong, and there are several online writers in the delegation of Guangdong to participate in the national congress this time, which shows that Guangdong attaches great importance to online literature and also shows that online literature is a strong point in Guangdong.
The prospect of the future development of online literature in Guangdong is to further cross over to film and television production, and then further expand its influence.
Yangcheng Evening News: Literary creation is inseparable from a good literary criticism environment, "Cantonese criticism" after so many years of development, how to better promote the development of Guangdong literature?
Jiang Shuzhuo: "Cantonese criticism" has been combing the academic genealogy before, and this work can be said to have come to an end. Next, we must exert some strength in literary criticism. Therefore, I stressed that the "Cantonese criticism" should be realistically targeted, open and pragmatic.
More importantly, in the future, we must pay more attention to guangdong writers, whether it is the older generation of writers or young writers, especially to vigorously support young writers in Guangdong, and to vigorously encourage the new literary phenomena in Guangdong.
