Based on feedback from manufacturers, CITC announced that in 2022 the N71 band will not be mandatory, in addition to the current N41 and N78 requirements, only the N1, N3, N8, N28, N40 and N77 bands will be required. However, CITC still encourages people to include the n71 band in devices and considers the n71 band required for devices entering the Saudi market in the future. The date of implementation of the new technical specification will be announced soon.
