The well-known Terracotta Warriors were discovered here, and only later were built into a museum for people to visit, and similarly, other precious cultural relics were found in this land, many of which were put into the Shaanxi Provincial Museum.
On May 1, 1981, the masses of Maoling Xiwu Commune in Xingping County, Shaanxi Province, actively responded to the state's call for large-scale construction of farmland and worked together to level the land in the wheat field next to the high trunk canal in the north of the village.
Xingping County has now been approved by the state as Xingping City. When a farmer was working in the wheat field, he accidentally touched a strange thing while swinging his hoe, because the sense of touch was different from the previous one, but after he crouched down to check it, he saw that there was a golden thing in the land, and Gao Juntian was ready to dig it out, but he could not dig out this huge golden object for a while.
He subconsciously felt that this must be a cultural relic, and as long as everyone saw this thing, he would definitely ask for an equal division, so in order to avoid causing a disturbance from everyone, he secretly covered the cultural relics with dirt.

Early the next morning, the archaeological team walked into the wheat field before the production team arrived, and it took only three minutes to dig out the artifact and found it to be a large golden horse.
On this basis, a large square earth pit was excavated, and a large number of bronze, iron, lacquerware, lead and other various types of utensils were excavated in the pit, and there were also 236 utensils of various types such as underworld and many living utensils.
Among them, the largest number of bronzes is the mainstay, and there are several typical bronze utensils, such as gold and silver bamboo copper smokers, gilded tiger towns, etc., their shapes are very exquisite, and they have been buried in the earth pit for thousands of years, and they are still shining when they are taken out.
In 1991, some of the excavated cultural relics were moved to the Shaanxi History Museum, and some of the gold and silver cultural relics were moved to the Maoling Museum. The cultural relics unearthed this time are first-class and second-class cultural relics identified by the state in 1995, with a total of more than 60 pieces.
Among them, two treasures are the most famous, a gilded horse and a gold and silver bamboo knot copper smoker, which have been rated as national first-class treasures.
There is an incense burner on the base inscribed: Jianyuan Four Years. That is, the Han Wudi Emperor Liu Che reigned for one year and cast this smoke oven.
Subsequently, experts also found the words "Yangxinjia" in the smoker, so this furnace was given by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, which is the thing of "Yangxinjia".
According to the historical data, it was learned that this "Yangxin" was actually the "Yangxin Princess" of the han Wudi Emperor Liu Che's compatriot sister, Liu Che's trust in his sister Princess Yangxin, and Princess Yangxin was also very fond of Liu Che.
