January 2022 domestic mobile phone market operation analysis report
First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market
In January 2022, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market were 33.022 million units, down 17.7% year-on-year. Among them: 26.324 million 5G mobile phones, down 3.5% year-on-year, accounting for 79.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In January 2022, 30 new models of mobile phones were listed in the domestic market, down 43.4% year-on-year, of which 15 were 5G mobile phones, down 53.1% year-on-year, accounting for 50.0% of the number of new models listed in mobile phones in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market
In January 2022, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 25.652 million units, down 24.0% year-on-year, accounting for 77.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 26 new models were listed, down 48.0% year-on-year, accounting for 86.7% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones
In January 2022, smartphone shipments were 32.366 million units, down 18.2% year-on-year, accounting for 98.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period. There were 28 new models of smart phones listed, down 31.7% year-on-year, accounting for 93.3% of the number of new models listed on mobile phones in the same period.
