The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology released an analysis report on the operation of the domestic mobile phone market in November 2021. According to the report, the shipment of mobile phones in the domestic market in November 2021 was 35.252 million units, an increase of 19.2% year-on-year.

Among them, 5G mobile phones accounted for 82.2% of 28.967 million units, an increase of 43.9% year-on-year, accounting for the vast majority of mobile phone shipments in the same period. Specifically, in November, China launched 47 new mobile phones, an increase of 34.3% year-on-year, of which 15 were 5G mobile phones, down 16.7% year-on-year, accounting for 31.9% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
The report pointed out that from January to November 2021, the total shipment of mobile phones in the domestic market was 317 million units, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year. Among them, 5G mobile phone shipments were 239 million units, an increase of 65.3% year-on-year. Accounted for 75.3% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
