Manifestation 1: Contractions
Time of occurrence: Generally in the last month of the third trimester, the uterus will appear to be able to feel irregular contractions, the length of the interval is different, the intensity is not equal, there is no law in the emergence and disappearance, this contraction is called irregular contractions.
The difference between irregular contractions and regular contractions:
The interval between contractions is getting shorter and shorter, the pain is getting stronger and stronger, and when the pain is every 10 minutes, pregnant mommy can be admitted to the hospital to give birth.
Precautions: If a person who has a pre-37 weeks or scarred uterus feels contractions every 15 minutes or so, they should go to the hospital for a check-up, as this may be a sign of premature delivery. Emptying the bladder, taking proper rest, and getting plenty of water are ways to prevent premature contractions.
Performance 2: "See Red"
Time of appearance: Redness usually occurs within a few hours to a few weeks before delivery. Usually 1-2 days before labour begins.
Causes: Irregular contractions in the third trimester of pregnancy make the uterus soft, shorten until disappearing, this process can make the cervical mucus plug off, and can make the fetal membrane at the mouth of the cervix separate from the lining of the uterus, resulting in rupture of capillaries and a small amount of bleeding, mixed with cervical mucus to become sticky blood, which is called "see red".

You don't have to go to the hospital immediately after "seeing red". Because after seeing the red, it is generally possible to give birth within 1-2 days, and there are also a very few people who have had many days to give birth, so there is no need to worry. It is not too late to go to the hospital after the regular contractions after "seeing red". (Scars uterus should go to the hospital immediately if you see redness)
After "seeing red", if there is "broken water", you must go to the hospital immediately.
"See red" the amount of bleeding is more, compared with the usual menstrual volume increase is not a normal phenomenon, or a large number of gushing, and accompanied by abdominal pain feeling, you must immediately go to the hospital for treatment. Because this may be bleeding caused by rupture of blood vessels due to placental detachment, rather than a precursor to childbirth.
In addition, pay special attention to if there is vaginal bleeding at no term, there may be vaginal bleeding at 28, 29 weeks or in the thirties, this time must go to the hospital for examination, bleeding may indicate that there is a preterm birth, some because there are some lesions in the cervix, and some people are because there are abnormalities inside the placenta, the placenta is close to the uterine orifice, we call the placenta previa, these conditions occur, it is best to go to the hospital to check it.
Performance 3: "Breaking water"
Normal membranes generally rupture during childbirth, mostly after the opening of the uterine orifice. If the doctor takes the initiative to break the membrane during childbirth in order to strengthen the contractions and accelerate the labor process, it is called "artificial membrane rupture".
If the membrane ruptures naturally before labor, it is called premature rupture of the membrane. After breaking the water, it is necessary to lie in bed immediately, and it is advisable to lie on the side to reduce the pressure of the uterine cavity and prevent the umbilical cord from prolapsing.
What is the difference between water breakage and urinary leakage?
If it is leakage of urine, basically you can control the outflow of urine, but the amniotic fluid is unconscious, uncontrollable, and continuous. It is difficult to distinguish between amniotic fluid and urine from the characteristics alone, and it is best to lie flat immediately, and the family will send it to the hospital to judge whether it is amniotic fluid or urine by measuring the PH value or observing the cervical mucosa.
Note: After breaking the water, the amniotic fluid flows out in large quantities, and the umbilical cord may be driven by pressure or prolapse due to gravity. The umbilical cord is the bridge between the mother and the fetus, and the oxygen and nutrition of the fetus are obtained through the umbilical cord. Once the umbilical cord is prolapsed, it can lead to fetal hypoxia, necrosis of tissues and organs, and even stillbirth. In the event of water breakdown, try to take a lying position and seek medical treatment as soon as possible, at this time, please be admitted to the hospital immediately for delivery.
