"The sensations and images evoked by the visible world, the world of the physical, are difficult, if not impossible, to describe in definitions and words. In fact, it is completely different from what is felt in everyday life, because the world as far as the eye is determined by form, color, space and light..." In a 1957 interview, Giorgio Morandi replied when asked, "Why are the subjects of your paintings so limited to those bottles and jars?"
George Morandi escapes the hustle and bustle of 20th-century artistic experimentation. While other artists flocked to Paris, Georges Morandi almost never left his hometown of Bologna. For Giorgio Morandi's art, there are only extremely limited and simple everyday utensils involved. The artist, once known as the "bottle painter", disliked literary and symbolic content, he liked to depict those bottles and cans in a new way of composition, and he also liked to depict the landscape outside the window of his studio in Bologna from all angles.
China Literature and Art Network continues to launch the 2022 9th China Beijing International Art Biennale to participate in the series of special editions, today for everyone to launch a special exhibition of George Morandi prints, come on, together to re-examine and enhance the aesthetic value contained in life ~ ~
