The enterprise that develops and produces these engines is known as China's "first hydrogen energy share" - Beijing Yihuatong Technology Co., Ltd., whose wholly-owned subsidiary Beijing Juxing Huatong Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. landed in Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone in 2020, mainly responsible for the research and development, production and testing of fuel cell vehicle engines.

It is understood that in February 2021, 80 vehicles equipped with Yihuatong fuel cell system successfully passed the Beijing series of winter Olympic test matches in a -20 °C environment, and the vehicles met the test requirements of the Winter Olympics in terms of low temperature start, snow climbing, endurance, etc.; from November 20, 2021 to January 2, 2022, the series of vehicles successfully passed three pre-Winter Olympic tests, completed the full closed-loop transfer drill in the competition area, the whole process of the Winter Olympic Village, the full element stress test, The 2021/2022 FIS Ski Jump intercontinental cup and the 2021/2022 FIS Nordic Intercontinental Cup test were carried out in good condition. In order to adapt to the ultra-low temperature environment in the Winter Olympic Games, Yihuatong and Foton Ouhui Bus completed the extreme cold test in Hailar in January 2020, and the hydrogen fuel cell bus was placed in an environment of -30 °C for more than 8 hours, and the ultra-low temperature cold start test was carried out, and the 116 seconds were successfully started.

Located in the Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone, the world's largest hydrogen refueling station with a daily hydrogen refueling capacity of 4.8 tons, the Haiper Hydrogen Refueling Station, was completed and officially put into operation in 2021. The hydrogen refueling station is equipped with 8 hydrogen refueling machines, 16 hydrogen refueling guns, and up to 600 daily service vehicles. As a key unit of hydrogen energy supply guarantee and helping the Beijing Winter Olympics, Haiper Hydrogen Refueling Station undertakes the hydrogen source guarantee work of some of the closed-loop appearance of the Winter Olympic Games. Since January 30, 2022, it has provided hydrogen supply for the hydrogen fuel cell buses of Xingshunda Passenger Transport Company and Hydrogen Power Technology Service Co., Ltd., with a total of 138 service vehicles, an average hydrogen refueling time of about 10 to 15 minutes at the station, and an average daily hydrogen refueling capacity of about 1 ton. At the same time, Daxing District vigorously promotes the construction of hydrogen refueling stations, network layout infrastructure, and will build 3 hydrogen refueling stations this year to provide guarantees for the large-scale promotion and application of fuel cell vehicles.

Help the green Winter Olympics Daxing to build a hydrogen energy brand

On August 13, 2021, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration Zone Urban Agglomeration was included in the first batch of national demonstration city clusters. On behalf of Beijing, Daxing District, as the leading city, took the lead in building the Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone, vigorously promoted the demonstration and application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, organized key activities such as the annual meeting of hydrogen ecology, the launch conference of the urban agglomeration, and the international green hydrogen conference, and created the "Daxing hydrogen energy" brand.

Daxing takes the southern area of the international hydrogen energy demonstration zone as a pilot to build photovoltaic building integration, use distributed energy technology, build a new power system with multi-energy coupling and multi-energy complementarity, build a zero-carbon park and a smart park, and realize the use of large-scale clean energy, fine energy management monitoring and multi-energy coupling applications。 After completion, the overall carbon reduction design index of the park will reach more than 30%, and the park will also realize the multi-scenario and efficient utilization of new energy through "hydrogen energy +", and become a demonstration park for the comprehensive utilization of hydrogen energy.

Iteratively optimize special policies to create a hydrogen energy industry highland. In 2020, Daxing District issued the city's first hydrogen energy industry special support policy to support the development of enterprises in terms of high-quality project landing, scientific research investment, and hydrogen source guarantee. In 2022, the hydrogen energy industry has entered a new stage of development, in order to promote the development of industrial agglomeration, cultivate growth enterprises to become bigger and stronger, Daxing District will soon issue a hydrogen energy special policy version 2.0, increase policy support, will continue to increase scientific research and innovation support, increase hydrogen energy operation, industrial chain upstream and downstream collaboration, hydrogen energy standard formulation and other aspects of the support, consolidate the foundation, storage for development. At the same time, we will study and formulate the hydrogen energy industry development plan (2021-205) in Daxing District, continue to tackle key technological innovations, and strive to create a "benchmark hydrogen zone, a green hydrogen zone, and a global hydrogen zone".
