In terms of appearance, from the perspective of the hypothetical drawing, the two new cars with mid-term modifications will adjust some of the details of the appearance, but the overall style of the current model will still be maintained. Specifically, the new BMW X5 will continue to use a large "double kidney" grille, but the headlight shape has become sharper, and the internal light group has been adjusted to a flatter style accordingly. The new BMW X6 will continue to adopt a more angular, more sporty "double kidney" grille shape, and the adjustment of the headlight shape is consistent with the new X5. In addition, the grille of both models will be blackened and have a new three-stage air intake opening design.
Whether it is the previous spy photos or the hypothetical pictures exposed this time, the two new cars have not been significantly adjusted in the side styling, but the new rim style will add some novelty to it. At the rear, it is expected that changes to the new car will focus on the shell of the taillights and the details of the internal light group.
In terms of interior, judging from the spy photos previously exposed, the new car will be equipped with dual screens and a new iDrive 8 infotainment system, which is also in line with BMW's latest interior design. At the same time, the central channel design of the new car is very similar to the new BMW pure electric SUV - iX, and it is expected that the overall interior style will also move closer to it, which will be more technological.
In terms of power, although the official has not yet released the power information of the new car, it is expected that the new car will continue to provide two power models of 2.0T and 3.0T, and match the 8AT transmission and xDrive four-wheel drive system. In addition, since the domestic version of bmw X5L is not far from being officially listed in China, it is also unknown whether the BMW X5 will be introduced into China in the medium term.
