Mei Yaochen was a famous poet of the Northern Song Dynasty, who learned five cars, had profound insights, sympathized with the sufferings of the people, and wrote many popular masterpieces. The poem was written in the late years of the author's life, and due to his frailty and illness, he had to rest in bed when others were excited to go out to qingqing.
The first link depicts the scene in early spring, when there is no warm sunshine during the day and it is overcast all day. The clouds in the sky, though thin, felt unfathomable.
