Recently, we obtained a set of declaration charts of domestic Mercedes-Benz EQE models from the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The car debuted overseas in September last year, as a new pure electric medium and large car under Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz EQE and EQS are based on the EVA 2.0 platform.
Judging from the declaration chart, the domestic Mercedes-Benz EQE continues the design of overseas models, the closed black grille is integrated with the headlights on both sides, the light group shape is more youthful and sharp than the stable and atmospheric EQS, and the style of the bottom front surround is also full of sports. In order to ensure a very low wind resistance coefficient, the new car adopts a "curved bow design" on the side, and the very streamlined body is integrated, and the hidden door handle looks avant-garde.
The rear of the new car is relatively heavy, the visual effect of the upper narrow and lower width is full of power, and there is a ducktail shape above the tail, and the recognition is high after the through-type light group is lit. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4969/1906/1509mm and a wheelbase of 3120mm.
In terms of interior, according to the spy photos previously exposed, the domestic Mercedes-Benz EQE also continues the layout of the overseas version, the overall design and EQS are consistent, and the stunning Hyperscreen joint screen adopts curved OLED technology, including a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument, a 17.7-inch central control screen and a 12.3-inch co-driver display, and the sense of science and technology is quite in place.
In terms of power, with reference to the overseas version of the model, the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 has a maximum power of 215 kW, a peak torque of 530 Nm, and a lithium-ion battery pack with a total capacity of 90.6 kWh, and a cruising range of up to 660 km under WLTP conditions.
Summary: The new design concept is certainly very advanced, but from everyone's feedback on Mercedes-Benz EQS, the exterior design of Mercedes-Benz EQE really needs to be adapted, and the radical and unconventional shape may not be accepted by everyone for a while, but Mercedes-Benz still maintains a leading edge in the interior part, and the integration of technology and grade is more outstanding. In addition, because the new car has not been extended, whether the space can be recognized by consumers needs to draw a question mark.
