At about 2:00 a.m. on May 2, 1986, Xu Liang and his comrade-in-arms Wang Jun took on the task of observation and vigilance. When Wang Jun was monitoring the enemy situation at the observation port, Xu Liang climbed up to the top of the small hole, and suddenly found that several Vietnamese troops in front of the position were quietly touching it, he immediately returned, took the submachine gun and rushed out of the hole, threw 2 grenades at the enemy, and at the same time, the Wang army that found the enemy also rushed out.
