After a New Year's Day + Spring Festival, it is still not listed, but we ushered in the manufacturer's XDV 250 (guess the name) engineering vehicle, compared to the conventional scooter, what kind of performance will it have?
Since the Longjia XDV 250 test drive is an engineering vehicle, there may be discrepancies with the future mass production version, and this illustration and test drive only represent the interpretation of this test drive.
Compared with conventional scooters, these ADV pedals have higher playability and more tests. People who choose XDV 250, I think that in addition to consuming its personalized appearance, most of the demand is to easily pass the bad road, do not care about the oil separation of the car, etc., the use of the scene may be a weekend outing by the river or woods, motorcycle travel is not too difficult dirt road and so on.
As an ADV pedal, in terms of ground clearance, the XDV 250 is indeed higher than the ordinary pedal, and this time driving in the woods encountered a lot of potholes, which are actually much deeper than in the picture, and the normal to run without a bottom.
When going in and out of the pit and up and down the steep slope, as long as you don't challenge the limit, such as wanting to play a flying slope or flying quickly over the pit, the ground clearance is enough.
It is not recommended to drive quickly through potholes, it is not that the XDV 250 cannot pass, but that the person riding it is really uncomfortable.
Because I have to take into account the familiarity of most roads at the same time, I think the adjustment of the suspension is 30% biased towards bad roads and 70% off highways. When driving at a speed of less than 50km/h on such a mild rotten road, the feedback of the front and rear shocks is still a little soft, and the front and rear of the car slowly undulate with the road surface, which is fun and does not feel upside down.
But no matter how fast the speed, the resilience of the shock absorber comes up, and the jolt feeling transmitted to the body becomes stronger and stronger with the speed, but this is not a disadvantage, because this setting also increases its support on the paving road.
In terms of power, the manufacturer has not yet announced its torque parameters, but in this test drive, I went to climb several slopes with large angles, the continuation of the power and the grip of the tires on the dirt road are no problem, and when I have the opportunity, I will try again the slope covered with gravel and steeper to see how strong it is.
For bad roads, its handlebar design is particularly appreciated, the parallel straight handle adds more accurate control, cope with bumpy roads, and can also open the arms to cope with cushioning.
Through the public announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it is understood that the engine power is 18 kilowatts, compared to the VMAX of the 300cc engine, it is 2 kilowatts higher, but perhaps because its curb weight is heavier, or the power adjustment may be off-road, the speed increase below 100km/h is very painful, but after the power begins to gradually calm down, the change of instrument speed from 100 to 110 per hour also becomes a slow increase of 2km/h, if you want to pursue a sense of speed on the highway, this is indeed not its strength.
It has the same wheelbase as the VMAX, and while the curb weight is a bit heavier, it doesn't change much in terms of flexibility.
In the street quickly change lanes, U-turns, you can still feel it is light and smooth, I don't know if the manufacturer for this car to reduce the drag distance, low speed with the straight handle, turn to a more thief, the front of the car's directness is also very sensitive.
The suspension properties mentioned earlier, which are more inclined to the road, can also be felt when the street is bent. Driving quickly into the corners will feel a little soft in the front of the suspension, but after some inclination, you will regain confidence. However, it is not recommended to use the original XDV 250 pressure large inclination, because the original factory is equipped with a multi-function tire, compared to the road tire in the bending grip is still much worse.
The initial feeling of riding posture is still very pleasant, and the upper body is not excessively forward because of the use of straight handlebars or off-road, and the relationship between the saddle and the pedal also makes the legs relax like VMAX.
