On Thursday, a fire broke out during a routine training at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, Calif.. It was the 3rd Battalion of the Third Marine Regiment, and a tent burned in the early morning of the camp. The fire department at the training center quickly brought the fire under control, but a batch of small arms were scrapped.
The Marine Corps spokesman thanked the fire brigade on the one hand, and said that the cause of the fire and the assessment of damage were underway. It has not yet been determined whether the firefighter is missing a job, or maybe he is roasting marshmallows? Semper fire, boys.
