Recently, a number of non-hereditary inheritors of Xiangshan have used their intangible cultural heritage skills to create a variety of "ice piers" rich in the characteristics of Xiangshan marine fishing culture, cheering for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Among them, the "ice pier" baked by Haiyan has won the praise of netizens since the release of the circle of friends. Hua'ao Salt Field is the only existing traditional salt drying plant in Zhejiang Province, and also the inheritance base of the national intangible cultural heritage project Xiangshan Sea Salt Drying Technology, the makers use Hua'ao Sea salt, wheat flour and water, through shaping, baking, coloring and other processes, to create a salt sculpture "Ice Pier" with a strong marine fishing culture atmosphere.
In addition, the non-hereditary inheritors of Xiangshan also created double-sided embroidered "ice pier" pendants, doll knot pendants, and a series of paper-cut works for the Winter Olympic Games to cheer for the Athletes of the Winter Olympics.
Since the county was selected as one of the first batch of national marine fishing culture (Xiangshan) ecological protection zones, it has adhered to the construction concept of "seeing people and seeing things and seeing life", strengthened overall protection, attached importance to inheritance and dissemination, and made every effort to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of marine fishing culture. The "ice pier" produced by intangible cultural heritage skills is a microcosm of the xiangshan fishing culture strung into a chain of beads, gathered sand into a tower, and inherited the living genes of the ocean.
