At that time, Chiang Kai-shek's government, in the situation of foreign invasion and national difficulties, only suppressed the Communists and did not resist Japan.
Chen Shuhui's meeting to promote the New Life Movement in the political team of the Kuomintang Central Military Commission gave us an understanding of the New Life Movement, which Chiang Kai-shek personally organized without any social significance, and even a little comically, and the ugly work style of the Kuomintang government.
Studying at the Kuomintang "Special Training Course of the Central Army Officer School," we followed Chen Shuhui in the social investigation class and discovered the ugly social phenomenon of "Wanglang's daughter-in-law."

Yu Xuezhong (then chairman of the Hebei Provincial Government) went to Hankou and Zhengzhou, and had already left for Shaanxi, where he was ordered to suppress bandits (then known as the Communists by the Kuomintang government)!
