Tian Jiasheng ‖ the Lantern Festival in his hometown

The Lantern Festival in my hometown is very lively, and it is not too much to call it a Lantern Festival.

The Lantern Festival is the second climax of the Spring Festival. From the twelfth and third day of the first month, bamboo horse community fires have appeared in various villages. Villagers call it playing with community fire and running bamboo horses. Social fire is played during the day, mainly walking on stilts, and sometimes there are high platforms (cores) to help entertain. Most of the costumes are costume dramas, do not sing, but are accompanied by gongs and drums, walking in circles in the field, or "twisting twist flowers" and picking up flowers. People who understand the drama can see some famous things, and children's homes are like dogs looking at the stars, which is purely lively.

The most eye-catching thing in the social fire team is the "social fire floc", the social fire floc is mostly not stepping on stilts, clowns dressed up, carrying a gray basket to run all over the field, and playing the role of drinking the field to maintain order. Sometimes play some gimmicks to amuse the audience. Bamboo horses must appear at night, and there are many names, such as horses and horses, clouds, stilts, lions, dragon lanterns, dry boats, Zhang Gongbei Zhang Po, two ghost wrestling, tigers and buffaloes, cranes and mussels. No matter where you run, the first person to appear must be the bamboo horse. In the vast field, children dressed as bamboo horses wrapped in white lamb tripe towels, dressed in green cloth clothes, with bamboo paper paste on the back of their chests, holding lanterns, led by horse heads, running with gongs and drums all over the field. The horse team runs smoothly for a while, crosses for a while, inserts obliquely for a while, jumps for a while, fiercely tense, quite a thousand troops and horses, and moves people's heartstrings. After the bamboo horse ran, Yunyun, Flower Boat, Lion, Dragon Lantern appeared one after another, and occasionally performed Zhang Gongbei Zhang Po, Er Ghost Wrestling and other programs.

Often one village did not finish running, and the bamboo horse took the lead in going to another village to play the front station, hot field. And the huge gong and drum family team of the bamboo horse is bound to be divided into a group of gong and drum teams to follow. When the bamboo horses in the hot field are finished, the clouds, dry boats, lions, and dragon lanterns behind them will follow and perform in an orderly manner. In this way, village after village, when the bamboo horse is finished, the star above the head rises.

In addition to playing with bamboo and horse fires, the Lantern Festival is to play with flower lanterns. The fifteenth day of the first month is the world of flower lanterns, and towns and villages are immersed in the ocean of lights everywhere. The Lantern Festival in the hometown also has the custom of sending lamps to the old ancestors. It was night, and the old mounds in the wild were full of lights flickering. In the houses of the villagers, on the stoves, on the door piers, on the tables, on the cabinets, in the water tanks and in the corners of the houses, there are chickens, barns, pig troughs, mills, and mills where lights are lit everywhere. Each of the children had their own lamp. Rabbit lights, watermelon lights, goldfish lights, monkey lights, rooster lights, drum lights, cucumber lights... It can be described as a variety of things, each with its own magic. Each child pulls and carries a lit lantern to show off in front of his companions. The village yard has become a place for light shows. Some partners accidentally burned their beloved lanterns, so they pestered the adults to cry and ask for new ones, and the adults had no choice but to go to the village store to buy another red lantern for the children. After all, the Lantern Festival is only once a year, which can sweep away the children's happiness.

Setting off fireworks on the fifteenth day of the first month is an ancient custom in my hometown. Almost every household in the village put up firecrackers, some put fireworks with flowers, some put "ground mice", and the poorest people also put firecrackers on the night of the Lantern Festival, trying to be auspicious and red.

The Lantern Festival in my hometown is really a "fire tree and honeysuckle that never sleeps"!
