The park said it was willing to pay all medical expenses, as well as 20,000 yuan in condolence money, but said that the compensation of 200,000 yuan was unacceptable. At present, the two sides have not reached an agreement on compensation.
The reporter recently visited the kindergarten involved and saw that the place where Mr. Deng's child was injured was located in the park's natural valley. At the "Little Lamb House" in the Nature Valley, you can see three goats and two chickens.
The principal told reporters that Mr. Deng's son was not a registered student in the kindergarten, and was invited to participate in activities organized by the community at that time.
Principal Yang said frankly that the child's injury in the kindergarten is indeed due to the school's lack of supervision, but she believes that parents also have the responsibility and obligation to take care of their children.
Director Yang also said that they saw from the surveillance video that on the day of the event, a chicken got out of the chicken coop, and the children ran after the chicken, among which Mr. Deng's son was injured during the chase, but due to the angle of the surveillance camera, it was not possible to determine whether the child was scratched by the rooster through the surveillance video.
The reporter learned from the Tianhe District Education Bureau that the bureau has recently received complaints about the kindergarten involved, and immediately arranged a special person to investigate the situation on the spot and guide the kindergarten to properly carry out the disposal work.
