In 2009, Yin Zheng stayed in Beijing after graduating from Beijing City College and became a staff member of the Beijing Volunteer Service Federation. In the past, every Spring Festival, he would return to his hometown of Guang'an Huaying for the New Year, but this year he chose to stay in Beijing and spend a special Spring Festival in the Winter Olympic volunteer service post.

Yin Zheng said that in October 2020, he signed up for the Beijing Winter Olympics volunteer selection through the LifeLine Volunteer Service Corps in Haidian District, Beijing, and became a Beijing Winter Olympics volunteer in December 2021, integrating his love for the Olympics into volunteer service, using the rest time to fully familiarize himself with the routes, venues and city attractions in the competition area, and squeezing time every day to practice spoken English. After participating in the pre-job training, Yin Zheng has been running between the Capital Gymnasium and the Qinghe Railway Station. At the Capital Gymnasium, he provides civilized guidance, information consultation and translation services for citizens and tourists; at the Qinghe Railway Station, he explains the knowledge of the Winter Olympics to tourists to Yanqing District of Beijing and Chongli District of Zhangjiakou City, and plans the best tourism routes.
The strong atmosphere of the Winter Olympics and the attention of the whole people to the Winter Olympics make Yin Zheng full of passion at all times. Yin Zheng introduced that the daily volunteer service time is from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and it is necessary to strictly abide by the disciplinary requirements such as not using mobile phones during the service period.
