Located in the urban green heart forest park located in the sub-center of Beijing, "Boat" uses the color system of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, with the gradient of blue such as the main color of Tianji Blue and the intercolor of ice blue, interspersed and arranged as the color of different particles, with a total of nineteen colors, showing the crystalline, handsome and healthy posture of "Boat", enriching the look and feel of the artwork.
"If on the field, competing for gold and silver and racing to rush the line is the highlight, then, out of the arena, the public sculpture of the Winter Olympics is an important window for the world to feel Chinese culture, ingenuity and inheritance, and manufacturing skills." Movement is instantaneous, and sculpture solidifies a moment into eternity. Chen Jianjun, head of the public sculpture construction team and chairman of the Xiamen Shengjiang Group Winter Olympics, said that the name of the sculpture and the production process of the sculpture itself are also the embodiment of the Olympic spirit and China's self-confidence.
