It is mentioned that data processors in the field of industry and informatization should bear the main responsibility for security of data processing activities, implement hierarchical protection for all kinds of data, and where different levels of data are processed at the same time and it is difficult to take protective measures separately, protection shall be implemented in accordance with the highest requirements of the highest level to ensure that data continues to be in a state of effective protection and legal use.
In addition, important data and core data collected and generated by data processors in the field of industry and informatization within the territory of the People's Republic of China, where laws or administrative regulations have domestic storage requirements, shall be stored in China, and if it is truly necessary to provide it overseas, a data export security assessment shall be conducted in accordance with laws and regulations.
At the same time, data processors in the field of industry and informatization shall clearly define the scope, category, conditions, procedures, etc. of providing data, and sign a data security agreement with the data obtainer. Where important data and core data are provided, the data security protection capabilities of the data recipients shall be assessed or verified, and necessary security protection measures shall be employed.
