In order to standardize automobile data processing activities, protect the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations, safeguard national security and social public interests, and promote the rational development and utilization of automobile data, in accordance with the "Several Provisions on Automobile Data Security Management (Trial)", the requirements for reporting the safety management of automobile data in Jiangsu Province in 2021 are hereby notified as follows:

Automobile data processors registered in Jiangsu that carry out important data processing activities include automobile manufacturers, parts and software suppliers, dealers, maintenance agencies and travel service enterprises.

The Cyberspace Administration of each districted city shall, in conjunction with the relevant municipal departments, map out the situation of automobile data processors in their territories, formulate a list of automobile data processors who carry out important data processing activities in their territories and report them to the Provincial Cyberspace Administration, and do a good job in organizing the reporting of annual automobile data security management in their respective regions. Automotive data processors should take the initiative to dock with the Cyberspace Administration of the districted city where they are located (see the end of the article for contact information) and relevant departments. The deadline for submission of information is 18:00 on January 28, 2022.
The Provincial Cyberspace Administration will organize special inspections with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Public Security, the Department of Transportation and other departments, and punish those who violate the relevant requirements of the "Several Provisions on the Safety Management of Automobile Data (Trial)" in accordance with the law, and those who constitute crimes will be investigated for criminal liability according to law.
