The Ministry of Education recently issued a notice announcing the second batch of Huang Danian-style teacher teams in national universities, and 200 teams such as the clinical Chinese medicine teacher team of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine were selected, of which 25 teams in the field of medical and health were selected.
It is understood that the second batch of huang Danian-style teachers in national universities in the field of medical and health care involve Peking Union Medical College, Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Capital Medical University and other universities, and the team leaders include academician Ge Junbo and academician Zhang Boli.
Huang Danian is a famous geophysicist who served as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Earth Exploration Science and Technology of Jilin University. In 2009, he resolutely gave up the superior conditions abroad to return to the motherland, studied hard, had the courage to innovate, and achieved a series of major scientific and technological achievements, filling a number of domestic technology gaps. On January 8, 2017, he unfortunately died of illness at the age of 58.
In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the advanced deeds of Comrade Huang Danian, the Ministry of Education launched the creation of the Huang Danian-style teacher team in national colleges and universities, and announced the first batch of 200 national university Huang Danian-style teacher teams in 2018.
