A few days ago, the Ministry of Education issued a notice announcing the second batch of "National College Huang Danian-style Teacher Team", a total of 200 teams were selected, and the plant development molecular biology teacher team led by Professor Zhang Xian of Shandong Agricultural University was among them. This is also the second teaching team of Shandong Agricultural University to receive this honor after the wheat genetic breeding and cultivation technology innovation teacher team was selected as the first batch of "National College Huang Danian-style Teacher Team" in 2018.

Over the years, the team of plant development molecular biology teachers led by Professor Zhang Xiansheng of Shandong Agricultural University has implemented the fundamental task of Lide Shuren, actively promoted teaching innovation and curriculum reform; adhered to the original intention of scientific research, aimed at restricting the development of modern agriculture "card neck" problem and concentrated on tackling tough problems; integrated into major strategies such as building a model for rural revitalization Qilu to promote plant stem cell technology from the laboratory to the industry. Huang Danian is a famous geophysicist who served as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Earth Exploration Science and Technology of Jilin University. He died on January 8, 2017 at the age of 58 due to illness. He is an outstanding example of educators teaching and educating people in the new period, an advanced model of patriotic service to the country by returnees studying abroad, and a model of the times for practicing the core values of socialism. In 2017, the Ministry of Education decided to carry out the creation of the "National College Huang Danian-style Teacher Team", and in 2018, the first batch of "National University Huang Danian-style Teacher Team" was announced. This is the announcement of the second batch of selected teams.
It is understood that a total of 12 teams from Shandong universities were selected this time. As of now, the number of university teachers who have received this honor in Shandong has increased to 22.
