Beijing News (reporter Liu Xu) On January 19, the inaugural meeting of the Museum Working Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies was held online. Professor Zhang Qicheng, president of the Museum Working Committee and founding dean of the National College of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, pointed out that the Museum of Chinese Medicine is the main front for inheriting and disseminating Chinese medicine culture, and the working committee can do a lot of meaningful things in this process.

At the meeting, Professor Zhang Qicheng put forward the goals and tasks of the Museum Working Committee: first of all, to establish industry standards for Chinese medicine museums, better enhance the brand and quality of Chinese medicine museums, and promote more museum upgrades; secondly, exchange and cooperation, enhance the interaction, exchange and cooperation between Chinese medicine museums, share good ideas and experiences, promote the export and complementarity of cultural relics, mutual exhibition, so that Chinese medicine cultural relics flow up, the value is maximized, and it is necessary to support the development of folk museums. Strengthen contacts and exchanges with relevant foreign museums. Finally, cross-border integration, to promote the integration of museums and cultural tourism, cultural and creative integration, and media communication, the use of the Internet, and strive to build a world Chinese medicine network museum as soon as possible, to help chinese medicine culture spread to the world.

Lu Ying, Director of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Museum, Lan Shaoqing, Director of Guangdong Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Li Gan, Director of Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Shi Zhiming, Deputy Director of Jilin Provincial Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, shared the characteristics, good ideas, methods and activities of their respective museums.

Xu Shanfeng, co-founder of Beijing Materia Medica Museum Education Technology Co., Ltd., shared the value and aesthetic ideas of the museum's cultural creation. Zhang Peng, founder of "Museum in the Ear", vividly explained the ideas and methods of museum education for everyone. Wang Wei, deputy general manager of Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical, shared with everyone the desire of Yiling Pharmaceutical to build a traditional Chinese medicine culture and the vision of cooperation with everyone on the platform of the museum working committee.
