CAAM: In 2021, the market share of Chinese brand MPV will be slightly lower than that of the previous year

February 9 news, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers statistical analysis, in 2021, China's brand MPV market share decreased slightly from the previous year, a total of 720,000 vehicles sold, down 0.3% year-on-year; accounting for 68.3% of the total MPV sales, the share of 0.3 percentage points lower than the previous year.

The top ten Chinese brands in terms of sales volume are Wuling Hongguang, Trumpchi GM8, Wuling Capgemini, Lingzhi, Trumpchi GM6, Baojun 730, MAXUS G50, Ruifeng M3, MAXUS G10 and Wuling Journey.

Compared with the previous year, the sales of Wuling Journey, Wuling Capgemini, Trumpchi GM8 and Trumpchi GM6 showed rapid growth, the MAXUS G10 growth rate was slightly lower, and other brands showed a decline. In 2021, the above ten brands sold a total of 597,000 units, accounting for 82.9% of the total MPV sales of Chinese brands.
