"In this exhibition area, we comprehensively used text and pictures, and also produced videos to be played in the 5D panoramic digital viewing hall, so that the general public can fully understand this famous soviet defense war." Ye Shiming, secretary of the party group of the Nanxiong Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism and Sports, said that the exhibition mainly focused on the revolutionary history of Nanxiong from 1921 to 1949, and selected 19 revolutionary stories, including the Battle of Shuikou, to tell a vivid story in various forms.

It is understood that the Nanxiong City Museum has a total construction area of 18,000 square meters, of which "Xiongguan Mandao - Guangdong Nanxiong Revolutionary History Exhibition" is the main exhibition of the new museum, with the revolutionary history of the people of Nanxiong led by the Communist Party of China as the main line, divided into six chapters: Xinghuo Nanxiong, Nanxiong of the Soviet Union, Bloody Oil Mountain, Anti-Japanese Salvation, Liberation of Nanxiong, and Forge Ahead, using digital media, cultural relics exhibition, color background, etc., while forming a more infectious scene atmosphere, telling the revolutionary story well.
Create an immersive red education model
In April 1930, Mao Zedong and Zhu De led the Red Fourth Army to capture Nanxiong City, and delivered a speech under the big banyan tree in Nanxiong City, publicizing the purpose of the Red Army to the vast number of Nanxiong masses, mobilizing the masses to unite and establish a Soviet government. In response to this historical event, the Nanxiong City Museum has created an immersive experience mode in the red history exhibition hall. In front of the oil painting, under the banyan tree, the audience sat shoulder to shoulder with historical figures, accompanied by "We are the Fourth Army of the Red Army, we are fighting the local tyrants and dividing the land, we are fighting imperialism, we are fighting the Kuomintang reactionary army, and we are the people's army" and other propaganda with Hunan accents, and the feeling of immersion in the scene suddenly arises.

"It's so vivid, the whole scene is very realistic, especially to be able to sit with these past figure sculptures, it's even more rare." Tourist Mr. Huang, a chinese revolutionary history enthusiast, said that this year's Spring Festival took the whole family to a number of red education bases in Jiangxi to feel the glory years of the past, although Nanxiong is the last stop, but also deeply shocked, "did not expect that in this small city in northern Guangdong, there is such a deep history of the red revolution."
