More than 80 years ago, a front-line cultural and labor troupe that gathered many outstanding artists was established and created many classic works such as "China, China, the Bright Red Sun Never Sets" and "Jasmine", which remained in the memory of the people of the whole country. On March 10th, the exhibition "The Lyrical Horn of Battle and the Clarion Call of Endeavor - Review and Prospect of the Artistic Achievements of the Frontline Literary and Labor Troupe" opened in Nanjing. Through more than 1,400 precious pictures and more than 100 audio and video historical materials, the exhibition vividly shows the past 80 years of the original frontline cultural and labor troupe, and is committed to creating an immersive feast of red spirit.
For more than 80 years, the works of the Frontline Literary troupe have left a deep impression on two generations. Historically, the frontline cultural and labor troupe has created and performed a large number of music, dance, and opera programs with the style of the times, national heritage, military characteristics, and Jiangnan style, such as the song "Taihu Beauty" and "Entering a New Era", the opera "Hongxia" and "Fangcao Heart", the dance drama "Red Clouds on the Edge of the Sky", the dance poem "Mazu", the dance "Harvest Song" and "Yellow River Soul", the Shandong Express Book "Li Sanbao Competition", the Suzhou Pingtan "Blood Peach Blossom", and the large-scale group songs "Huaihai Battle Group Song" and "There Is Such a Forest in the South". These shining classic works, like the notes of battle and the melody of endeavor, record the changes of the great era, inherit the red genes of the nation, sing songs for the times, paint portraits for strong troops, shape the souls of officers and soldiers, and interpret the unique fighting spirit and value pursuit of frontline people.
