According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Tesla recalled the vehicles because the seatbelt tone may not sound when the cars are started and the driver is not fastening their seat belts. According to the recall report, the recalled models involved include four models of Tesla's 2021-2022 Model S and Model X, 2017-2022 Model 3 and 2020-2022 Model Y.
