Tiger Gui Bronze Western Zhou

This piece is said to have been unearthed in Fengxiang County, Shaanxi Province. The lid is topped as a lotus petal-shaped catcher, and the abdomen is flanked by a dragon's head earlobe. The four walls of the lid, abdomen and square seat are decorated with flowing ripples, the dragon's head ear is decorated with heavy ring patterns, the mouth edge and circle foot are decorated with stealing curves deformed from animal patterns, the mouth edges are prominent, and the ring foot ornaments omit the order of the beast. The attached ear and the belly adopt the more popular casting and welding process in the middle and late Western Zhou Dynasty, that is, after the two ears and the body are cast separately, the pottery fan is made at the junction of the two, and then cast with copper liquid to make the two connected. The lid of the instrument is also inscribed with a pictographic tiger character, which should be the clan of the maker.

Yangling Tiger Rune Qin Dynasty

The Yangling Tiger Symbol, which is the certificate for Qin Shi Huang to mobilize the army, was cast in bronze in the shape of a Crouching Tiger, and can be divided into two, and the left and right necks of the tiger each have the same wrong golden seal inscription 12 characters: "The rune of the armored soldier, the right is in the emperor, the left is in Yangling." It means this soldier symbol, the right half is stored in the emperor's place, and the left half is stored at the general's headquarters stationed in Yangling (present-day eastern Xianyang, Shaanxi); When the army is mobilized, the envoy shall hold the right half of the match to take effect.

The girder is made of a tiger, the waist ridge is raised as a handle, the long tail is curled, and the back ridge is carved with several straight lines. The shape is vivid and vivid.

Wrong gold, silver, copper tiger, Western Han

The tomb of Liu Fei, the son of emperor Jing of Han and the king of Jiangdu Yi, was excavated. Copper tigers are a group of two pieces, basically preserved intact. Integral die casting, harmonious proportions, very realistic. The tiger is stunned, mighty and majestic, with black ore inlaid with eyeballs and tabby patterns decorated with wrong gold and silver craftsmanship throughout. Exquisitely shaped and luxuriously decorated, it is very likely to be a favorite of the owner of the tomb during his lifetime. Liu Fei himself is extremely martial, and the kingly aura displayed by these two bronze tigers is highly compatible with his personality.

White Jade Crouching Tiger Ming Dynasty

This white jade Crouching Tiger is 5.6 cm long, 2.2 cm wide and 1.1 cm high. It is the old collection of the Qing Palace. The tiger is made of white jade and is reclined. The long tail protrudes anteriorly to the side of the body. Wide and deep slope lines indicate the body and tail markings. Thinner and smaller, it is mostly used as a decoration.

Tiger Halberds Western Zhou

It is oval in shape, 44.3 cm high, milled at 27 cm and weighs 16 kg. Flat mouth, "dance" on the semi-circular button. The button is decorated with cloud patterns, the two sides of the body are decorated with animal face patterns, there are narrow and long lace edges in the middle, the upper part of the mouth is decorated with circular swirls and petal patterns, and the two tigers are decorated on both sides of the cadmium, and the image of the four tigers is not realistic but patterned, reflecting the mythology of the bronze ornamentation at that time. This cadmium is indeed a very rare material for the study of Western Zhou bronze ornamentation and ancient plastic arts.

The palladium and the bell are both percussion instruments, appearing in the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty, later than the Yong bell. This pendant is not only uniquely decorated, but also an early bronze pendant.

Xu Beihong Tiger Chart Axis Modern

"Tiger Chart Axis" is painted by Xu Beihong, a modern and contemporary Chinese painter, on paper, color, 90.4 cm in length and 43.6 cm in width.

Seven years refers to the seventh year of the Republic of China (1918), and Xu Beihong was 23 years old at the time.

The picture depicts a spotted tiger lying on a stone, turning his head and turning to look back into the distance, his alert gaze not only expands the sense of space of the picture, but also shows the domineering spirit of the king of the hundred beasts.

The tiger in the picture is painted with pastels from traditional Chinese paintings, and the dynamics of the tiger's desire to move and stop are outlined with a fine brushwork, and the fur of the tiger's back is rendered with deep or shallow ochre and garcinia, showing a fine and silky texture.

In calligraphy, Xu Beihong was quite influenced by Kang Youwei and worked on the Han and Wei fa title Tuo. In November 1918, Xu Beihong won a place to study in France at public expense. Before going to France, Han Wei Jingtuo, who received a gift from his friend Ma Heng (Zi Shuping), was very happy, so he carefully drew this map as a thank you.
