Beijing, February 3 (China News Network) -- On the evening of February 2, the Beijing Winter Olympic Curling Mixed Doubles Round Robin Tournament kicked off at the National Aquatics Center "Ice Cube". The sports display team, known as the "atmosphere group" on the field, made its debut to spread Chinese culture in the languages of the world.

The fusion of East and West mobilizes the atmosphere of the Winter Olympic Games

In the Winter Olympic Games, the sports display uses elements such as video, audio, entertainment performances, and special lighting to set off the atmosphere of the competition site, stimulate the enthusiasm of the audience, and make the arena more exciting. The sports display team is therefore also known as the "atmosphere group" on the field.

On the evening of February 2, before the official opening of the competition, Beiao Group, as the official sports display and award ceremony sponsor of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, made its first "appearance" at the Winter Olympic Games, and the team demonstrated the cultural connotation of curling projects in a unique way of integrating Chinese and Western styles.

Curling originated in Scotland, so Scottish bagpipe playing is a pre-competition tradition in curling competitions. Six musicians dressed in traditional Scottish costumes walked into the arena, 4 played bagpipes, 1 sounded the snare drum, and 1 beat the big drum, and played a melodious "Scottish Warrior" in ensemble, as if to bring the audience to the birthplace of the curling project. Subsequently, accompanied by the music of traditional Scottish bagpipes and snares, the DJ on the scene of the competition introduced the participating teams.

On the first day of the competition, on the second day of the Chinese New Year, the on-site DJ specially selected the traditional Chinese music "Golden Snake Dance" and "Spring Festival Overture", using musical language to tell the story of when the Winter Olympics meet the Chinese New Year, and send New Year wishes to the audience and athletes.

The ice projection stunningly showcases traditional Chinese culture

Sports display is an important window to show the culture of the host country on the Olympic field. Beau Group and crystal stone digital technology carefully planned and produced the "ice cube" ice projection, the audience enjoyed the cool eye 3D ice surface image, feel the passion of the Winter Olympics and the charm of Chinese culture.

After the opening countdown, a "Xiaoice pot" floats down from the Chinese folding fan painting environment, passes through the beautiful painting of Meilan bamboo chrysanthemum representing traditional Chinese culture and noble morality, and floats into the pond of "Nian Nian Yu". Moonlight in the air floats through the pond, and the water ice transforms wonderfully to form a curling track. After experiencing the baptism of ice and snow, the "Xiaoice Pot" transformed into an Olympic curling pot, sliding all the way to the end of victory, and finally transforming into snowflake particles to bloom to form the Olympic Rings.

It is understood that the curling projection team combined the characteristics of the competition project and the elements of traditional Chinese culture, integrated digital technology, adopted the design method of "dual-screen linkage", so that the east side of the large screen and the four track pictures on the field echoed, so that the 3D projection was more spatial and interactive, creating the "most dazzling ice" ice surface stereoscopic projection, staged the Winter Olympic Ice stereoscopic art performance, actively disseminated Chinese traditional culture, and displayed the new height of Chinese digital imaging.
