The grassland client reporter | the "Double Olympic Venue" Wukesong ultra-low energy consumption gorgeous transformation in Beijing

Using new technology insulation materials and scientific process design, to achieve 6 hours of "ice basket conversion";

Replace all the metal halide lamps used in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games with energy-saving, environmentally friendly, uniform illumination LED lighting;

Using low-carbon carbon dioxide transcritical direct cold ice making technology, "Ice Diamond Flower" has become the world's largest ultra-low energy sports facility...

Over the past 10 years, Five Pines has always been closely associated with basketball. At this Winter Olympic Games, the Wukesong Sports Center, a "double Olympic venue" that will host women's ice hockey and some men's ice hockey matches, has achieved a gorgeous turnaround of ultra-low energy consumption full of high technology. Not only has the original venue been comprehensively improved with water treatment system, the ice making system has been newly installed, and the top configuration of ice pouring equipment has been built, but also a beautiful new pavilion has been built, the "Ice Diamond Flower" of Wukesong Ice Center.

On February 2, the reporter came to the Wukesong Sports Center to find out. Stepping into the stadium, athletes from all over the world who are about to participate in the men's ice hockey competition are seizing the last time to train and adapt to the venue, the athletes in the bright stadium are sliding freely on the ice, the sound of ice hockey and ice hockey clubs colliding from time to time, and the Chinese red seats on the sidelines complement the main colors of blue in the stadium...

During the interview, the reporter learned that the new upgrade of the Wukesong lighting system is not easy. "After the lighting system upgrade, the first problem we faced was how to balance the different lighting requirements of the broadcast camera and the competition. Fully meet the camera, the board wall will have shadow problems, and fully meet the requirements of the game, the camera will have a large number of light spots. Han Lifan, deputy facility manager and accessibility manager of wukesong sports operation team, said. In order to solve this problem, the Wukesong lighting team developed 8 schemes for testing. In the end, the team turned off the outer ring lights of the track, used a sight for each luminaire, and then adjusted the angle of some of the luminaires in the inner ring of the track by manually breaking them one by one. After countless debugging and calculations, the shadow problem was finally alleviated. Han Lifan said.

As the women's ice hockey training venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, wukesong ice sports center "Ice Linghua" has made full use of low-carbon environmental protection. "The Wukesong Ice Center is one of the first venues to use carbon dioxide as a refrigerant in the new Olympic venues. Traditional ice venues mostly use Freon to make ice, and the technical route is mature and reliable, but it will cause damage to the ozone layer. In contrast, carbon dioxide refrigeration is more green and environmentally friendly, and it has more advantages in terms of refrigeration efficiency, refrigeration uniformity, and heat recovery. However, due to high technical requirements and difficult control, there were no ice rinks for carbon dioxide ice making in China before. Zeng Sheng, deputy manager of venue infrastructure at Wukesong Sports Center, said.

"Ice Linghua" uses carbon dioxide transcritical direct cold ice making technology, and 7 of the 15 ice rinks at the Beijing Winter Olympics have adopted this technology, which is also the first time this technology has been applied at the Winter Olympics. It is understood that the use of carbon dioxide to make ice in 7 ice rinks is equivalent to reducing the annual carbon dioxide emissions of nearly 3,900 cars, and it is also equivalent to the carbon emission reduction achieved by planting more than 1.2 million trees.
