1, Li Haixin... Born in August 1962 in Luohe City, Henan Province, he became a soldier in January 1980 and was the acting platoon commander of the 119th Regiment of the 40th Division of the 14th Army, holding the 142nd Highland for 55 days and nights. On July 12, 1984, the Vietnamese army launched a strong attack on The 142 Heights with more than 400 troops, and Li Haixin commanded 14 comrades to repel the Vietnamese army in six rounds of attacks, killing 104 enemy people. Li Haixin died heroically in the battle, posthumously remembered the first class merit, the Central Military Commission posthumously awarded him the title of "Combat Hero", and the 142 Heights were named "Li Haixin Highlands". Of the "Fifteen Warriors of Laoshan" brought out by Li Haixin, 5 died gloriously (3 of them died with the enemy), and 10 survived. Li Haixin's body was buried in the Hero Terrace of the Malipo Martyrs' Cemetery.

Zhu Shiping (right) Company Commander, born in March 1959 in Shangqiu City, Henan Province, became a soldier in December 1976, and was awarded the second class merit in the 1979 self-defense counterattack against Vietnam. When serving as the company commander of the "Jinan Hero Company" of the 235th Regiment of the 79th Division of the 27th Army, he held the 142 heights for 3 months, repelled more than 210 sneak attacks by the Vietnamese army, and annihilated 63 enemy troops. In July 1987, he led the commando team to completely annihilate 87 enemy defenders in the operation of the No. 59 Highland Of the Vietnamese Army, and was awarded the second class merit and the company was awarded the first class of collective merit.

3. Deputy Company Commander Li Congwan (left) ... Born in 1963 in Deng County, Henan Province (now Dengzhou City), he participated in the war twice and was awarded the First Class Meritorious Service. The first time was as a platoon commander in the 5th Company of the 119th Regiment of the 40th Division of the 14th Army, and in the early morning of April 28, 1984, he led the whole platoon to capture the 662.6 heights of Songmaoling in only 30 minutes. The second time was in 1986, when he was transferred as the backbone of the battle to the "Jinan Hero Company" of the 235th Regiment of the 79th Division of the 27th Army as the deputy company commander, he led a commando team to cooperate with Zhu Shiping Company Commander to surround and annihilate 87 enemies on the 59th highland of the Vietnamese Army, and once again won the first class merit. Li Congwan also held a wedding without a bride in the cat's ear hole. At that time, more than 20 news units such as "People's Liberation Army Daily" and "Battle Flag Newspaper" made reports, and now Li Congwan lives in Zhengzhou City, the husband and wife love as before, the son has a successful career, and the family is happy and happy!
