Earlier this month, Nicola Peltz's father, billionaire Nelson Peltz, sued the wedding planners, Nicole Brackin and Arianna Griharba, demanding that they refund the £132,000 deposit.
Mr Peltz, 80, claimed the wedding planners were fired last April, weeks before a three-day wedding extravaganza at a family mansion worth £76 million in Palm Beach, Florida, for making a number of "mistakes".
The two wedding planners are from a planning company called Plan Design Events and were hired in February 2022, six weeks before the lavish wedding. However, they did it for only 9 days before they were resigned.

Like all billionaire family farces, this matter has now become Rashomon. Last week, Brackin and Griharba hit back, filing a counterclaim against Nicola's family for breach of contract and interference in business deals.

Nicola also asked the planner to design an all-pink lounge with sphere lights for her. In addition, when the two planners raised the idea of hiring a performance band, Nicola directly dismissed the offer, saying that their idea was very "cheesy" and that she only wanted a lead singer.
After angrily firing Brackin and Griharba, Peltz eventually hired a third mastermind, Michelle Rago. She reportedly planned the wedding very easily. But Peltz claims that the emergency hiring of Rago in the weeks leading up to the wedding meant that he spent "much more money than they normally would charge."
