Asphalt surface course construction is the last critical project before the high-speed construction is completed. During the "May Day" period, the builders of Fenshi Expressway seized the favorable node of the temperature rise, started at the same time on a number of working faces, and carried out pavement operations in an all-round way, at present, the main line of the water-stabilized layer has completed 39% of the design amount, and the asphalt surface course has been completed 12%, and it is planned to complete the construction of the water-stabilized layer at the end of July, and the whole line will complete the oil-laying operation at the end of September.
Zhao Junlong, deputy project manager of Fenshi Expressway Pavement Division 1: "May Day" holiday, we have more than 60 machinery, more than 300 workers are on duty, in the whole bid section of three working faces to carry out operations, every day can lay asphalt surface layer 1 km, water stabilized layer 1.5 km, after the completion of the installation of corrugated guardrails, curb stones and other ancillary projects, to further accelerate the progress of the project.
While the road work is progressing in an orderly manner, the tunnel construction is also being carried out simultaneously. At present, 4 of the 5 tunnels of Fenshi Expressway have been penetrated, and the longest Dongshan Tunnel of the whole line has been broken through on the left, and the builders have 24-hour uninterrupted cycle construction to ensure that the project is completed on time.
Ji Ming, Chief Engineer of the Fifth Division Project of Fenshi Expressway Subgrade: 14,925 meters have been completed so far, 96% of the total length has been completed. Among them, the left hole has a total length of 7730 meters, the right hole has a total length of 7800 meters and the remaining 605 meters, at present, the right hole has 3 working faces, 18 meters can be excavated per day, and it is planned to be fully penetrated before the end of June.
At present, 52 of the 53 bridges on the whole line have been connected, and the projects of housing construction, greening, traffic safety, and mechanical and electrical are progressing in an orderly manner.
