In Shenzhen, there is a relatively rich traditional cultural heritage and traditional customs. Due to the historical settlement and reproduction of the Hakka here, as well as the reform and opening up, attracting and integrating many foreign cultures, the folk customs of Shenzhen are more colorful, and the Spring Festival customs are even more so.
For example, during the Spring Festival, there are big dramas, lion dances and unicorn dances, sending blessings into the house; locals eat potted vegetables, eat "fried piles", hoping for sweet, good luck, reunion and celebration; sha tau kok spring festival performances during the fish lantern dance, South Australian fishermen also have a unique "grass dragon dance"; Dapeng Ancient City every five years before the Spring Festival to the Lantern Festival, held for 7 consecutive days of Taiping Qing dip and "general banquet", these activities continue to this day.
