New Year greetings to the people of the whole region
Unity is restored, and everything in Vientiane is renewed. On the occasion of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger, I would like to extend my good wishes and sincere greetings for the New Year to the people of the whole region, to all friends from all walks of life who care, support and participate in the construction and development of Longquanyi District and Chengdu Economic Development Zone, and to the comrades who are still fighting in the frontline and sticking to their posts during the festival!
The years do not live, the seasons are like a stream. In 2021, the whole region adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial party committee, the provincial government, the municipal party committee and the municipal government, the overall promotion of epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, achieved a good start in the "14th Five-Year Plan", and the total economic volume stepped up to 150 billion yuan, maintaining the first place in the province, district, and county-level administrative districts for 9 consecutive years. This year, we meticulously organized party history study and education, activities to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the party, carry forward the great spirit of party building, study party history, enlighten the mind, do practical things, and open up a new situation. This year, we held the 12th Party Congress of the district, established the goal of building a "Chengdu-Chongqing manufacturing highland, a 'two industries' integration demonstration zone, an industry-city integration vitality area, and an urban-rural integration practice area", and fully opened a new journey of high-quality development in Longquanyi District. This year, we tried every means to stabilize economic growth, went all out to prepare for the Chengdu Universiade, vigorously promoted the borrowing of Saixing City, "a three pavilions" made a stunning appearance, the main torch tower lit up the night sky, the east-west city axis was completed and opened to traffic, The Stagecoach River Park and Dong'an Lake Park were opened one after another, and the quality of urban functions was continuously improved. This year, we have solidly carried out the practical activities of "I do practical things for the masses", deeply implemented the ten major projects of a happy and beautiful life, resolutely fought and won the battle against the epidemic prevention and control, and the sense of gain, happiness and security of the urban and rural masses continued to increase.
The hard-won achievements are the result of the scientific guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, the results of the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial party committee, the provincial government, the municipal party committee and the municipal government, and the results of the concerted efforts and hard work of the party members and cadres and the masses in the whole region.
