"When we were to lift the last layer of ivory pressed on the artifact, we were all looking forward to it, because the excavators at the site were sure that they would see an artifact that had never been seen before." Zhao Hao described his mood of seeing this cultural relic for the first time.
Zhao Hao told reporters that the forelimbs of this bronze statue of the tiger head dragon body stood on a triangular copper bracket, the back of the body was cocked, the hind limbs were welded together with another piece, and a bladed thing was held in the mouth. There is also a bird standing in the front section, the yin line on the surface of the bird body is filled with cinnabar, and the most interesting thing is that the eyes of the bronze statue of the tiger head dragon body are lit with black color (the material has not yet been detected) with a very round eyeball, which is the finishing touch. At present, the base of the cultural relics seen is 55 centimeters wide and 85 centimeters high, and some of them are still in the soil, and the overall appearance is very worth looking forward to.
"Sanxingdui has previously appeared in the shape of a dragon, but this is the first time that it has appeared in this volume and in a circular carving. Now there is still a lot of soil on the surface of the cultural relics that has not been cleaned, and I believe that it will be very gorgeous after cleaning up. Zhao Hao said.
For the purpose of this bronze, "I really don't know what it is for," Zhao Hao said, "one is that this artifact has not been fully excavated and exposed, and the other is that this artifact is not alone, but part of another large artifact." ”
