The meaning of literary works is to reveal, rather than telling stories to satisfy the reader's appetite. If a work does not touch on human nature and the portrayal of the human heart, it is not superior.

There are many excellent poems in contemporary Chinese literature, while novels and dramas are much inferior, which is related to the writer's emphasis on stories and appearances, and his shallow taste for real and rich inner activities.
