According to the Financial Associated Press, the first batch of production line verification prototypes (validation builds) of NIO's fifth model ET5 have been rolled off the production line at the Hefei plant. As previously planned, ET5 deliveries will begin in September this year.
The NIO ET5 has up to 9 body colors to choose from, including three exclusive colors (Mirror Powder, Cloud First Yellow, and Aerospace Blue).
In terms of performance, NIO said that dual motors are the standard for high-end intelligent electric vehicles, ET5 uses dual motors intelligent four-wheel drive system, the maximum power is 360 kilowatts, the peak torque is 700 Nm, the acceleration of 100 kilometers is 4.3 seconds, and the maximum range is more than 1,000 kilometers. The car has a front and rear five-link suspension, an axle-to-load ratio of 50 to 50, a body length, width and height of 4790, 1960, 1499 mm, and a wheelbase of 2888 mm.
Designed for autonomous driving, the NIO ET5 is equipped with Aquila SUPER SENSOR system and ADAM NIO supercomputing platform as standard, equipped with NIO's latest generation of autopilot system NAD, which can realize a safe and relaxing point-to-point autonomous driving experience.
