On January 28th, the 6th National Chinese Line Drawing Art Exhibition of "Colorful Zhengzhou Airport" opened at Zhengzhou Shengda Art Museum. The exhibition is sponsored by the China Artists Association and the Henan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and undertaken by the Fine Arts Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Henan Provincial Artists Association. The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge to accompany the public to celebrate the New Year.
The 6th China Line Drawing Art Exhibition aims to promote and prosper the creation of contemporary Chinese line drawing art, highlighting the cultural heritage of Zhengzhou as the ancient capital of China and the charm of modern aviation city in the airport experimental area. The exhibition is sponsored by the China Artists Association, the Henan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Management Committee of the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone, the China Federation of Literary and Art Centers, the Henan Provincial Artists Association, the Zhengzhou Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Associations, the Zhengzhou Artists Association, the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone Education, Culture, Health and Sports Bureau, and co-organized by Zhengzhou Airport Xinggang Investment Group, Zhengzhou Garden Expo Park and Shengda Art Museum.
In this exhibition, the exhibition review committee strictly selected more than 8,000 submitted works from all over the country, and finally selected 260 works. The 260 pieces of line drawing works on display this time have both realistic style and freehand techniques, including the "Eighteen Strokes" outlined by lines in traditional Chinese painting, and the new line method that highlights the decorative interest in Western modern painting techniques, with distinct themes, wide themes and elegant style, representing the highest achievements and latest achievements of Chinese line drawing art creation, showing the lofty cultural ideals and beautiful artistic pursuits of art workers in the new era to inherit and carry forward excellent traditional culture and consolidate and innovate the spirit of Chinese painting.
