According to Reuters reported on the 19th, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said on Thursday when asked about a video that the UK could not evacuate unaccompanied children from Afghanistan. The video shows a baby thrown over barbed wire at an airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, and handed over to Western soldiers for care.
At kabul airport, desperate Afghan mothers threw their children over barbed wire and begged British paratroopers to take them to safety.
An official told The Independent: "These mothers were desperate, they shouted 'Save my child' and then threw the child at us. Some babies would fall on barbed wire, which was horrible. ”

Britain is currently evacuating Britons and Afghan employees who worked for the British government during the war in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, when asked about the video, Wallace told Sky News: "We can't take minors alone. You will find that, just like the video you see now, the child was taken away because his/her family would also be taken away by us. ”
Wallace said: "Trying to get through that crowd would be a challenge and we were looking for other ways to deal with it, but that's the situation at the moment." He noted that the British soldiers at the airport were in a predicament as some Afghans rushed to leave.
