"The high incidence of myopia is associated with our eye habits and academic stress. Urban planning should consider eye health
Why build an eye health demonstration city? In Lin Haotian's view, eye health is not only related to the level of physical health, but also to the general environment.
"From indoor lighting, sitting posture, living habits, to the building distance of the entire city, it will affect our eye habits." Therefore, from the planning of the overall environment, we must focus on the problem of eye health. Lin Haotian said.
Lin Haotian said that there are many new areas in Guangzhou, such as Baiyun District, Huangpu District, Haizhu District, etc., which can consider the future to create the most livable environment when planning, not only to live comfortably, but also to live healthily.

At the same time, professional ophthalmologists grow slowly, and can develop a technical platform for intelligent diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases through artificial intelligence, big data and other technologies, and take the lead in promoting and applying them in Guangzhou.
"After we digitally transform the doctor's diagnosis and treatment experience, we diagnose it through algorithms and intelligent technology, which is the way to better serve the majority of patients." Lin Haotian said.
In order to further promote the further high-quality development of ophthalmic medical services, he suggested that Guangzhou, based on the advantages of the Bay Area, lead the implementation of the construction plan of the smart medical ecological pilot zone represented by eye diseases, on the one hand, carry out all-round technological innovation of the traditional medical model of the old community in the urban area of Guangzhou, and create a new model of health services covering the whole life cycle that integrates "prevention-medical-health care".
"We have done a lot of experimentation in Yuexiu District. With the support of the Yuexiu District Government and the CDC, we felt that it was very effective after a few years of trial, Yuexiu District is currently building a life and health innovation zone, and we have also opened up the 'last kilometer' of residents' health by concentrating medical resources, and put health screening points in community hospitals and downstairs for residents. On the other hand, he suggested that the newly planned construction of communities in cities should be used as a pilot project to build a "smart green community" focusing on the prevention of myopia in adolescents.
