This is the annual blockbuster exhibition held. Shanxi is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation, known as the "cradle of Chinese civilization", known as the "museum of ancient Chinese culture". Yongle Palace, built in 1247, was completed in 1368 and lasted for more than 110 years. It is the most complete preserved official building of the Yuan Dynasty in the mainland, one of the three ancestral courts of the Quanzhen Sect, and was listed as the first batch of national key protection units in 1961.
Yongle Palace is famous for its exquisite mural art, and is the most grand, richest and most exquisite representative of the existing temple murals in China. The mural art of Yongle Palace inherits the painting traditions of the Tang and Song dynasties, forms a distinctive characteristic of the times, and has the role and significance of carrying forward the upper and lower levels in the history of Chinese painting.
The exhibition exhibits a total of 43 sets of exhibits, including the 4.2-meter-high mural "Chaoyuan Tu" of the sanqing hall of the original Dayongle Palace, the 3.6-meter-high monument of the Reconstruction of the Dachunyang Wanshou Palace of the Yuan Dynasty, and the glass building components of the Yuan Dynasty of the Sanqing Hall.
The exhibition pays special attention to the inheritance and transformation and development of China's excellent traditional culture, and uses a variety of scientific and technological means in the form of exhibition to create a costume pattern experience of Yongle Palace with immersive experience; reflects the characteristics of mural painting with animation interpretation; interprets the content of Yongle Palace murals and contemporary world murals and overseas lost Jinnan school murals with new media; uses leading 3D printing technology to print murals of Sanqing Hall, Chunyang Hall and Chongyang Hall, combined with digital restoration, traditional craft restoration and other modern exhibition technology to interpret the artistic treasures of Yongle Palace.
