The Year of the Tiger in the Mainland Lunar Calendar is the Year of the Tiger in the Zodiac. On the occasion of the 2022 Spring Tiger Year, China Cultural Relics Newspaper, together with nearly 50 cultural institutions from all over the world, selected hundreds of pictures of tigers or tiger-shaped cultural relics and held a special exhibition to welcome the New Year in the Year of the Tiger.
What can stop the viewer the most is that the physical exhibits of tiger cultural relics collected by the Anhui Museum will appear collectively and shine in unison. The earliest national treasure-level cultural relics merchant Dragon and Tiger Striped Bronze Statue (replica) that shows the picture of "Dragon and Tiger Contending for Hegemony" will show its majesty, and the Spring and Autumn Fuhu-like Jade Tiger will not be outdone, showing you the momentum of the tiger and the tenderness of the jade at the same time, and the original "Statue of the Fuhu Venerable" by Ding Yunpeng of the Xiuning ren clan of Anhui Province at the end of the Ming Dynasty is also among them, especially worth mentioning that the works of the modern tiger painter Zhang Shanxiao to show the tiger will appear one by one, and the magnificent scene of "tiger and tiger shengwei" will be perfectly portrayed with the stroke of God. The guqin is the traditional instrument with the most national spirit and aesthetic taste, and is a symbol of the noble and pure feelings of the ancient literati on the mainland. This exhibition adopts the narrative method of "space", and sets up a triple physical space: elegant room, garden and landscape, to talk about culture with space and disseminate the spiritual core and aesthetic ideas contained in the guqin.
In the "One Party Elegant Room", it tells the enterprising spirit of the ancient literati who used the piano to cultivate their hearts and cultivate morality; in the "Garden Style", they show their elegant life of playing with piano friends and calligraphy and painting; in "Landscape and Water", it shows that they write their hearts with the piano, the piano heart blends, and the life detachment that is one with nature is displayed.
There are many types of exhibits in this exhibition, including piano ware, paintings, pianos, piano sheets, porcelain decorated with "qin" elements, lacquerware, and stationery utensils. Here are 9 cute little divine beasts, looking forward to traveling through time with you, returning to the Spring and Autumn Warring States period, and starting a journey of "having a story". The exhibition uses 9 bronzes such as the head of the beast, creatively designs cartoon images such as An Xiaobo, and creates a series of IP of the small god beast series; with the theme of "An Xiaobo's Travels", it tells the story of An Xiaobo's meeting, hometown search, travel, feast, and return with his former friends.
Focusing on "Bronze Culture", the exhibition integrates thematic creativity, space design and digital display technology, uses animation, interactive experience, immersive scenes, etc., integrates the bronze smelting method, Qunshu culture, and the cultural knowledge of various princely states (Zhong Li, Wu, Cai, Chu State), comprehensively displays the cultural appearance of the Spring and Autumn Warring States period in the Jianghuai region, integrates knowledge and interest, and allows the audience to feel the ancient Chinese bronze culture and ritual civilization in the interactive experience.
Splendid Western Regions - Xinjiang Silk Road Cultural Relics Exhibition

Xinjiang, located in the northwestern border of China, is the hub of the ancient Silk Road and the place where cultural exchanges between the East and the West converge. Xinjiang's special geographical location and ecological environment have enabled farming and nomadic herding, East and West to exchange, learn and integrate on this fertile land, leaving behind many historical and cultural treasures.
The "Splendid Western Regions - Xinjiang Silk Road Cultural Relics Exhibition" organized by the Anhui Museum and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum selected more than 180 pieces (sets) of exquisite cultural relics excavated from various regions in Xinjiang from the pre-Qin to the Song and Yuan dynasties, including pottery, metalware, textiles, woodware, paper, Buddha statues, glassware, etc., especially the official documents of the Han and Tang Dynasties and the Simple Documents in various languages, which clearly explained to the world: the cultures of various ethnic groups in Xinjiang rooted in the fertile soil of Chinese civilization. It is an inseparable part of Chinese culture; Xinjiang has always been a place jointly developed, built and owned by all ethnic groups, and is an integral part of the common home of the Chinese nation. In the glorious course of China's reunification of the multi-ethnic country, the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, together with the people of the whole country, have jointly developed the splendid rivers, mountains, and vast territory of the motherland; jointly created a big family of the Chinese nation that is pluralistic and integrated; and jointly created a long history of China and a splendid Chinese culture.

Many female figures with different faces appear frequently under the painter's pen, from boudoir to marriage, from family to society, they dress up and pay attention to a better life; piano and chess poetry and painting, immerse themselves in talent and elegance; silkworm mulberry cultivation and weaving, showing their skillful and clever hands; there are more women in literature and opera, who do not let their eyebrows be raised, and support half of the sky of the family and society with weak shoulders, showing the spiritual quality of ancient women who are tenacious and have the world in mind.
The exhibition is divided into four parts: "The Beginning of the Flower, the Victory day and the Search for The Fang", "The Center of the Boudoir, the Lost Water Years", "The Four Arts are Exquisite, the Talent is Elegant", and "The Plain Hand, Don't Let the Eyebrows Be Raised", showing the different moods of ancient Chinese women in the boudoir, marriage, family and society.
The exhibition hall exhibition intends to use modern multimedia technology, scene restoration and other means, with the representative scenes of women's lives in paintings as the background, combining virtual and real, creating an elegant and aesthetic atmosphere, bringing the audience into the social life of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and feeling the beautiful charm and tenderness of ancient Chinese women.

In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the protection of cultural relics and further combat and prevent cultural relics crimes, since 2017, the Ministry of Public Security and the State Administration of Cultural Relics have carried out special actions to combat cultural relics crimes for five consecutive years. In accordance with the unified arrangements made by the higher authorities, the public security organs and cultural relics departments of Anhui Province have struck hard and defended themselves at the same time, launching round after round of fierce offensives against cultural relics crimes. In the past five years, the province's cultural relics safety and law enforcement inspectors have steadily advanced, joint law enforcement has formed a joint force, the long-term mechanism has been continuously improved, the role of science and technology in helping the police has become increasingly prominent, the awareness of cultural relics protection has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the special action to combat cultural relics crimes has achieved remarkable results in stages.
Based in Anhui, the exhibition is divided into three units: "Cultural Relics Suffering civilization", "Bright Sword Jianghuai Guardian Civilization" and "Long-term Mechanism for Long-term Achievements", exhibiting a total of 14 key cases and more than 200 sets of cultural relics, comprehensively using physical objects, pictures, videos, data, multimedia presentations, interactions and other methods to three-dimensionally show the important achievements of our province's special action to combat and prevent cultural relics crimes since 2017, in order to present exquisite cultural relics while taking the case as a lesson and mobilizing more social forces to participate in the protection of cultural relics. Exhibition of Shang Dynasty cultural relics excavated from Xingan Oceania

The exhibition is jointly organized by the Anhui Museum and the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, and selects 120 sets of cultural relics excavated from the Shang Dynasty Tombs in Xingan Oceania in the Jiangxi Provincial Museum.
In 1989, more than 1,300 cultural relics were excavated from the Shang Dynasty Tombs in Xingan Oceania, Jiangxi, mainly bronze, jade and pottery. The 475 pieces of bronze are exquisitely cast and distinctive, which can be called a typical representative of bronze ware in southern China. Some of the large artifacts excavated from the newly excavated bronzes were first divided into parts and then cast together, showing a high level of casting technology. There are also 754 pieces of jade and 139 pieces of pottery unearthed in Shinkan Oceania. There are ceremonial vessels, ceremonial guards and ornaments in jade, and 20% glazed pottery and original porcelain in pottery.
The Shang Dynasty tombs in Xingan Oceania are the most striking bronzes, which is currently the largest number of Shang Dynasty bronzes excavated in the same relic unit, and is another major discovery after the Yin Ruins in Anyang, Henan, and the Sanxingdui in Guanghan, Sichuan. The discovery of the Shang Dynasty Tomb in Oceania Township, Xingan County, has not only changed people's understanding of the ancient civilization in the Ganjiang River Basin, but also raised various thought-provoking new questions for the southern and entire Shang Dynasty civilizations.

Exquisite Spirit to Ice Jade Ingenuity - Ming and Qing Dynasty Dehua Porcelain Fine Exhibition

Jointly organized by the Anhui Museum and the Fujian Museum, the exhibition selects 88 pieces of precious porcelain from the Dehua kilns of the Ming and Qing dynasties in the Fujian Museum, showing its crystal clear ice jade essence and highlighting the deep connotation of its cultural exchange and integration.
The history of Porcelain making in Dehua can be traced back to the five dynasties at the end of the Tang Dynasty, and the Song and Yuan Dynasties began to flourish. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Dehua porcelain craftsmanship reached a new historical peak, and was famous for its jade and ice-clear tire glaze texture and unique plastic arts. The exhibition is divided into four units to comprehensively show the texture of tire glaze and the unique plastic art of Dehua porcelain jade and ice in the Ming and Qing dynasties. In the first unit, "Furnishings and Elegant Play", the Dehua kiln as an offering vessel for furnishings, is mostly modeled on bronze and other metal utensils, showing the aesthetic tastes and different understandings of art of the literati and doctors at that time. The second unit, "Literature Collection Treasures", porcelain stationery is a traditional product of Dehua porcelain, both functional and artistic stationery supplies, and has become an indispensable tool for the literati desk. The third unit, "Zen Taoran", shows the sculptural works with great artistic appeal produced by Dehua kiln workers using the natural properties of clay. The fourth unit, "Jiaojiao", shows the Dehua kiln as a cup and cup utensils used for both wine and tea, which are light and exquisite in shape, and the tire glaze is transparent, which is interesting to reflect with the decorative pictures and texts, which is tireless to see.
Anhui Wenfang Four Treasures

In ancient China, pen, ink, paper and Stone were collectively known as the Four Treasures of The Literary Room, which were the main tools for ancient literati and scholars to write and paint. Anhui is one of the main birthplaces of the Four Treasures of Chinese Literature, and is also the region with the most complete production of pens, ink, paper and stones. The four treasures of Anhui literature represented by Xuan pen, emblem ink, rice paper, she Yan, etc., have exquisite production technology, rich and diverse categories, and unique styles. The history of the four treasures of Anhui Wenfang has a long history, especially in the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Xuanbi represented by Zihao and Chicken Distance was famous all over the world, the emblem ink represented by pine tobacco ink and lacquer smoke ink was famous in the world, the rice paper represented by ribbed Xuan and jade version Xuan was deeply sought after, and the She yan represented by the dragon tail stone stone such as the ji shape and the scribe shape became the royal tribute. Deze Yongfang - Anhui Museum collection of donated cultural relics exhibition

Since its establishment, the Anhui Museum has received support and generous donations from many collectors, artists and their families, public and private institutions in the past 60 years, and tens of thousands of the 220,000 collections in the collection have been obtained in the form of donations. These donations have enabled the Anhui Museum to have a more complete and rich collection sequence, constituting a collection system based on ancient Chinese art treasures, supplemented by modern revolutionary cultural relics and collections from the socialist construction period. These donors donate their most precious collections to the country for the benefit of the people, and their spirit of selfless dedication is something we are most impressed for.
The exhibition selects more than 100 fine works from the donated works over the years, and brings a new visual feast to the general public when the donation exhibition hall is reopened. From the Mediterranean to China: Treasures of the Silk Road

The exhibition is divided into four parts: "Ocean of Civilization - The Mediterranean Sea where Diverse Civilizations Meet", "Brilliant River - Two River Basins and The Iranian Region", "The Smile of the Buddha - Central Asia where Eastern and Western Cultures Blend", and "Dream back to Dunhuang - The Artistic Belief in the Life of Ikuo Hirayama", which exhibits a total of 192 pieces (sets) of cultural relics collected by Ikuo Hirayama and his Paintings on the Silk Road. The cultural relics are from 2000 BC to the 8th century AD, including the Silk Road art around the Mediterranean region, the Two Rivers Valley and Iran, as well as Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, and the cultural relics cover Greek faience pottery, Roman and Persian glassware, Silk Road gold and silver coins, Central Asian brocade and Indian Buddha statues, etc., and some of The Dunhuang sketches of Hirayama Yufu are also exhibited. This exhibition shows the glory of ancient civilizations on the Silk Road west of China, presents the characteristics of culture, art, religion, craftsmanship and even customs and folklore in various regions from the Mediterranean to Central Asia and South Asia, as well as the exchange, integration and mutual reference of these civilizations.
Exhibition of cultural relics unearthed in Lingjiatan

The Lingjiatan site in Hanshan, Anhui, which is more than 5,500 years old, is the largest and best-preserved Neolithic central settlement site ever discovered. Because of its complete range of remains and rich cultural connotations, the site is listed as one of the top 100 archaeological discoveries in China in the past century.
The discovery of large altars, sacrificial pits, stone circles, tomb groups and a large number of jade, stone tools and pottery reveals that Lingjiatan in ancient times was a prosperous and lively city, and aquaculture, animal husbandry and handicraft industry began to take shape, including landmark buildings such as large palaces and temples, as well as neatly laid out houses and cemeteries, as well as moats, handicraft workshops, markets and a large number of ceremonial utensils. Unearthed more than 1,000 pieces of high-specification jade ware, a wide variety of unique shapes, exquisite pondering, beautiful, the most eye-catching original Bagua tu jade plate, jade eagle, jade person, jade dragon, jade pig, jade diamond and other representative jade in the ideological and historical value, craftsmanship and artistic achievements of the unique, giving people a refreshing feeling, representing the neolithic Chaohu River Basin jade culture of the highest level, for the ancient Chinese civilization exploration project to provide important archaeological materials, It shows that the Chaohu Lake Basin in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in Anhui is one of the birthplaces of ancient Chinese civilization and a bright pearl in the history of Chinese civilization.
This exhibition is a panoramic display of the cultural features of Lingjiatan by the Anhui Museum, the Palace Museum, the Anhui Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, and the Lingjiatan Site Management Office of Hanshan County. At the same time, the exhibition also gathers the cultural relics of Hongshan culture and Liangzhu culture, and presents the three major jade cultures of the Neolithic era in a ceremonial manner, in order to outline the development of the three major jade cultures, so that the audience can understand the cultural knowledge of Lingjiatan while wandering in the warm atmosphere of jade culture and bathing in the aesthetic interests of the ancients.

With meilan bamboo chrysanthemum as the theme, the exhibition selects more than 130 sets of fine cultural relics, covering calligraphy and painting, porcelain, jade, metalware, iron painting, four treasures of study, carving and other cultural relics, showing the cultural characteristics of the "four gentlemen" from the perspective of ecological aesthetics, highlighting the plant attributes of meilan bamboo chrysanthemum, and explaining the proud, quiet, tenacious and light cultural qualities of the "four gentlemen". This exhibition combines the ecological characteristics of Meilan Bamboo Chrysanthemum with the noble qualities of the ancients, using objects to metaphors for people, so as to enlighten people in today's society to pay attention to the cultivation of the beautiful character of the "Four Gentlemen", and warn people to always maintain a pure mentality in the real society where materialism is rampant.
