IT House January 27 news, market research institute Sensor Tower announced the top 10 downloads of the world's most popular mobile games in December 2021. The statistics come from the Google Play Store and apple App Store, excluding the third-party Android market.
Overall, global mobile games were downloaded 4.9 billion times on the App Store and Google Play in December, up 1.8% year-on-year. The Indian market ranks #1 with 717 million downloads, accounting for 14.8% of the world's total downloads. The U.S. market ranked Second with 9% downloads, followed by Brazil with 8.2%.
Garena's Free Fire topped the global mobile game download chart in December with 24 million downloads, up 28.2% from the same period last year. India is the game's number one market, contributing 26% of downloads, followed by Brazil with 12%.
Psyonix's Rocket League Sideswipe ranked #2 with nearly 21.6 million downloads. The United States is the largest market with 27% downloads, followed by Mexico at 5.9%.
