According to Sensor Tower's data, Mihayou's Original God has a total revenue of more than $3 billion on mobile platforms. Excluding the revenue of the third-party platform store, in just one year, the revenue of the Original God mobile game reached $2 billion, and in the next 185 days, the total revenue of "Original God" reached the milestone of $3 billion, which also means that up to now, "Original God" has generated an average of $1 billion in revenue per six months.
From the data point of view, China has become the largest revenue-generating country of "Original God", contributing $973.3 million in expenditure on the iOS platform alone, accounting for 30.7% of the total global players. It was followed by Japan, which ranked second with 23.7 percent of total revenue, while the United States came in third with a revenue share of 19.7 percent. It can be seen that the main revenue of "Original God" comes from the Asian region, and its revenue accounts for nearly 70% of the total.
Sensor Tower said that the total revenue of "Original God" is only after "Glory of Kings" and "PUBG M", thanks to MihaYou's regular large-scale content updates, including the introduction of new game features, new explorable areas and game characters, in the first quarter of this year, "Original God" finally topped the global mobile game revenue list, with an average monthly active user growth of about 44% year-on-year. Sensor Tower believes that later this year, Protoss will reach the $4 billion revenue milestone.
