Di opera is a local drama popular in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, which originated in the early Ming Dynasty from the Tun army from Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Henan and other places. With the Tunbao people, the ground drama also appeared. Ground opera is a kind of traditional folk drama unique to the people of Anshun Tunbao in Guizhou, wearing a wooden carved mask.

Anshundi opera is an ancient traditional drama, and its salient feature is that when performing, "the dancer wears a green scarf, a waist battle skirt, wears a mask in front of his forehead, holds a spear and a sword in his hand, sings casually, and dances in response to the sound." Its singing is seven words and ten words rhyme rap, accompanied by a gong and a drum, one person leads the singing of the crowd to accompany, with the afterglow of the Yiyang old style; Its dance is a show of fighting and fighting. The thirty or so big books performed are the Xue family generals, Yang family generals, Yue family generals, Di family generals, heroes of the Three Kingdoms, and wagang good men who are loved by the tunbao people. There is only praise for loyalty and righteousness, and praise for the loyal servants who serve the country. The era reflected goes up to the Shang Zhou and down to the Ming Dynasty. The music of the opera is rough and the accompaniment is simple, which is generally adapted to performing in the wilderness.

The charm of the earth drama lies in the charm of its costumes a lot of times, and in the smooth play, the mask is the symbol of the gods.
Symbol one: clouds. There are various clouds on each mask, some craftsmen directly carved, some craftsmen use color to outline, the purpose of which is to express that the loyal martyrs have become immortals.
Symbol two: mirror. That is, the mirror of the demon, is the ancient meaning of warding off evil spirits, installing a small piece of lens on the mask can not only play a role in exorcising demons and warding off evil spirits, but also reflect all bad things back through the mirror and play a role in blessing.
Symbol three: Animals. On the mask of the ground play, there are dragons, phoenixes, tigers and other animals common. Among them, the dragon is a kind of mythical object, and almost every mask is engraved with a dragon-shaped totem in different forms, which is a commonality on the mask of the earth play.
Symbol four: flower face. Mainly indicates character, quality. According to personality, there are integrity, fortitude, bravery, cunning, cruelty, etc. According to the personality, quality, and appearance of the characters, the colors painted are also different, such as red, black, white, yellow and other colors, according to the fixed pattern of facial makeup, called "makeup".
